Would not let me get a word in. Also refuses to refill prescriptions unless you call their office every single refill. I do not feel comfortable with him, and I do not feel like he actually cares about my health.

He won't allow pharmacies to call and ask for a refill, requires unnecessary exams and is basically a drain on insurance companies and offers no real services, except to himself...his staff isn't really helpful or answers questions, can be rude. Multiple calls from them is also a major issue. Policies are ineffective and not geared to patients but only to his profit margin. he is one of the reasons why insurance prices are out of control. Feel free to see for yourselves, you've all been warned.

Personally I wouldn't recommend this Dr. First the waiting is more then 2 hours second he doesn't listen what I have to say there is no good communication at all, third the majority of time he is not there to make an appointment; Dr mostly of the time is out for a week and in a emergency like I had there were trying to call him from the hospital and he wouldn't answer or there was no one backing him up

I had visited his office after making an appointment and seeing a high score from healthgrades. I was very surprised as everything from the start of the appointment to the end was terrible. Aside from waiting for over 2 hours, when I finally did see him I could hardly get a word in. He was very rude, did not want to even touch the issue of a mental health prescription which is the reason I went for, and without a doubt I can definitely say that I do not recommend this physician to anyone ever.

Although he used to be a good doctor he has changed his practice drastically. You wait for over an hour as you see his wife's friends walk in and out within 30 minutes. He refuses to prescribe refills even if you've been taking the same medication for years. His staff is rude and inexperienced. When you finally see him he barely listens to you and if you have a concern other than getting your refills you have to book a separate appointment because he will not address it then.

Dr. Compean has been my doctor for the past 17 years. I love going there. I feel as part of his family. The staff are wonderful and caring!

Staff was rude, clinic is not organized, and MA's do not explain procedures not use proper hand hygiene. Beware equipment and reuseae ke supplies are not sanitized after use on patients. DR. C prescribed medication w/o alerting of all side effects or warnings and without properly screening for safe use and understanding of medication use and advisories. Poor practice!
