Saint Michael's Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

I arrived at the ICU only 2 hours before my beloved uncle's passing. In that short time, the doctor caring for him explained the situation and our options very clearly, allowing me to conference in another family member. Our nurse was very present, caring, and skilled. She helped to make his passing very peaceful. I am grateful for the loving care we received that day.

My father recently had several medical imaging exams done at Saint Michael's. The staff in the Radiology department were absolutely Wonderful. They were attentive, compassionate, respectful and very professional. Thank you!!!

From the moment I was there until I left they made sure I was ok. Didn’t have to wait an hour to be seen and all test that needed to be ran were in the same room. In by 11am out by 1pm , nurses and doctor were very patient and polite. Will definitely recommend.

Was a patient there for a week and RN Ms rosie,take good care, she's very serious with her work and she very loving,caring and understanding, despite of races different, I give here full respect on her name. Thank you Nurse Rosie for taking good care of me, from keyshea.

No at good experience. My main complain was due to the lack of communication from the Doctor and the PA. No one ever called me to update me on my husbands health. No one called to tell me that they had finally decided to do surgery. We waited 3 days because they told us they issue could fix itself. It didn't and then they went ahead to proceed with surgery. After surgery still no one called me about the surgery and what to expect next. Until I called and spoke to the director. Thank Joan for your concern and for getting someone to finally call. The other issue we had was that every time we had to push for answers or explanations, and getting Ct scans or ultrasounds took a really time to happen. It's been 1 week and my husband is still there. The Nurses seemed to be doing their job and they were nice. Nurses and front desk admin were polite and courteous.

Worst hospital ever! Please do not go there for Cancer treatment. Had a family member go there under Dr. Shaaban’s care and it was the worst mistake. He did not care about my relative’s well-being and gave her medication that made her get worse which led to her passing. Avoid!

I would like to share my experience of being helped by a gentleman name Miguel in your medical records department. He is a true super hero and we need more service providers to have the people skills that he had continued to display. I felt that he loved helping me on both occasions; a few years ago as well as recently. I am a service provider as well and I felt like he really care. Thank you so very much and keep up the great work.

Thank you all for the awesome help. Every nurse, doctor and staff member was very courteous and answered all my questions and did everything to help.

At St. Michael’s I have experienced compassionate care. The staff here truly go above and beyond to listen and meet the needs of the patients.
