List of Sheldon S. Lin's Reviews
He did reconstructive surgery on my right toes, now going to do on my left. Actual work was well done but he can be a times extremely haughty and uber-confident about his work. I had bit of a slow recovery, yet i'm doing my other foot since his work was great.
Excellent Diagnostics. Could not have picked a better foot and ankle specialist. Turns out that he has actually taught most of the other ortho's that I have visited.
I saw Doctor Lin after I fell off a a ladder and broke the first 3 metatarsal bones in my foot and my arch collapsed as well. My foot was healing very deformed. Doctor Lin did a 3 1/2 hour surgery and fixed my foot. I can walk again thanks to Doctor Lin. He checks me every 6 weeks now to make sure the bones are healing well. Doctor Lin saved my life. He is a great doctor !
Dr. Sheldon S. Lin is the worst physician that I have ever met. I went into the hospital for a torn Achilles tendon. I had to leave Overlook hospital because they were not going to feed me because Dr. Lin di not leave clear instructions to the hospital staff. After getting some food, I made the mistake of going back to Overlook. After the surgery, my ankle became infected and the wound became full of puss. I had to be readmitted to take care of this infection. Once Dr. Lin saw that I had diabetes, he was only interested is selling me very expensive diabetic shoes. When I told him that I was not interested in his shoes, he would no longer treat me. Aside from the ethical lapses, I think that Sheldon Lin should just go back and be a shoe salesman. He is less than worthless as a physician.
I called Dr Lin cell phone and he answered quickly, he resolved my issue on he spot and followed up later in the evening to assure me all is in good standing. Thank you Dr Lin
Dr Lin cares about each of his patients and that makes the difference.
Cutting edge concept with options discussed in detail He was able to go over all options and gave personal cell phone and was available to talk more
Dr. Lin is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. In addition he is kind, caring, witty, and brilliant. Dr. Lin operated on my broken Charcot foot, saved my foot from possible amputation, got me walking with an excellent result. He has been following my progress every 3 months for 2 years I look forward to each visit.
Dr. Lin is truly a great surgeon. I went to see him recently, and it was an amazing experience. Unlike others, he took the time out to show me what was wrong with my ankle, and even though I did not see it at first, he sat with me until I understood it. Even today, the follow ups are outstanding, as he genuinely cares about my well-being. Dr. Lin is a must-see doctor, and you are missing out if you don't visit him.
Dr. Lin should have his medical license revoked. He sent me for an MRI last week and I've been informed that he is unavailable to to read the scan results nor can his PA. The receptionist told me my only choice was to wait until he returns in yet ANOTHER week. WHAT IF MY FOOT IS BROKEN and I'm hurting myself with every passing day by NOT having it in a cast?! I don't understand how a doctor can leave his patient wondering for two weeks what is wrong with them. I understand that doctor's take vacations and are not always in the office but that doesn't excuse the fact that I have results waiting for me in an office that won't provide them and won't provide an alternate doctor or PA to read the results and with every passing day my pain gets worse and I can't be told the cause of it because the office refuses to release the scan results. This is after I had to wait at the office an hour for my appointment for the doctor to get there in the morning in which he barely spoke to me and rushed out of the room. I strongly suggest that you don't waste your time on such poor medical care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
