We were fortunate enough to have found Dr. Baredes over 10 years ago when my mother presented with a very rare sublingual salivary cancer for which Dr. Baredes performed the initial surgery and provided post, long-care treatment. He was exceptionally knowledgeable in his area of expertise, kind, patient, took his time to explain everything until we understood it perfectly. He is a very compassionate and detail-oriented doctor/surgeon. His prognosis of the cancer's behavior (once removed) was exact. It returned after 10 years, just as he said it would and has been under local care and observation since. This was 13 years ago. About 3 years ago, my mother landed in the hospital with an infection and I immediately called Dr. Baredes (over the weekend, in the evening) and he called me RIGH BACK and connected with the doctors at the hospital and put my mind at ease; something he certainly didn't have to do after so many years. He is a rare find in today's pool of assembly line doctors.

I rarely leave reviews but definitely felt I needed to here. I’m a month removed from having a thyroglossal duck cyst removed in my neck. One doctor put me in touch with another which then put me in touch with Dr. Baredes. Having your throat cut wide open sounds horrifying but after the first appointment with the Doctor I felt almost excited to get this done and over with. His bedside manners are top notch and the nurses and anesthesiologist were phenomenal. At no point was I even remotely worried right up until I passed out. My only one concern was a huge scar on my throat which he promised me he will make it almost unnoticeable. Now 1 month out his promise held true and it looks amazing. This Doctor is a gem. If anyone has any throat issues it’s almost crazy not to go to him. 10 stars.

Dr. Beredes' knowledge, bedside manner, explanation of procedure and follow up are all outstanding. He performed a radical robotic neck dissection on me. My wife and I found him to be very caring, patient and thoroughly detailed in his explanation of the procedure and what to expect in recovery. He listens to concerns and explains in detail what options are available and works with the patient and family for the best outcome. I would highly recommend him and his staff for their knowledge, efficiency, professionalism and friendliness. He is a true treasure!

Dr Baredes is an excellent surgeon. He performed a neck disection on my brother. He is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and listens. We never felt rushed when we've seen him in the office. He also stitched up my brothers neck with such precision. He does wonderful work. His medical assistant is very nice as well. I'd recommend this Dr to anyone needing his specialty.

Had surgery by doctor Baredes maybe 10 years ago. It was the 4th surgery on one of my saliva glands and was tricky because there was a lot of scar tissue from the previous surgeries. Surgery went perfectly and like the other reviews his bedside manner is excellent. Sit in his office for an hour and talk to other patients. Everybody loves this guy !!

I found Dr. Baredes after much searching, interviewing other doctors and even fired several seeing the red flags that existed. Dr. Baredes is fantastic; knowledgeable, skilled, great listener and an excellent communicator and a compassionate human being. I had 2 surgeries with him last year and BOOM, I'm feeling better than I have in a long, long time. His staff is also great. He runs a tight ship and I felt safe knowing I was in really good hands.
