List of Thomas Ortiz's Reviews
Cómo siempre Dr Ortiz,. Estamos muy contentos de ser su pacientes, gracias dr Ortiz .
Dr Ortiz is my primary Doctor for 33 years already my family and grandkids are definetly under Dr Ortiz care . He has the compassion and love for his patients that is hard to find in others Specialist.
Very professional.
HORRIBLE!
Good docs but they never answer their phones or get back to messages. Lack of responsibility/respect for patient needs and I believe this is considered patient abandonment. Office management needs help for sure.
Dr. Ortiz has been my primary care doctor for just two years. I had a medical problem while away from home. After my initial call to the office, a nurse called back in 20 minutes to prep me for a telemedicine visit. Dr. Ortiz was on the phone within the hour. They made arrangements to get me the tests and care I needed in a few hours. It was a great relief.
I can't believe this office never answer calls.... how you supposed to get information over the phone? referrals? I have being calling for about 4 days no call backs-

I went to Dr. Ortiz's office by appointment at 2:40 pm, a nurse came out and took my information. After waiting 40 minutes with temperatures of 80 or more degrees outside and without a place to sit. Finally they called me to sit inside. There I was waiting for another 30 minutes. Then they called me to the room around 3:10 to be seen by the doctor. 30,40, minutes an hour passed. I see that the nurse opens the door and I ask him when I'm going to be seen. Another hour passes, the time continues, I open the door and I see that people are leaving who came to see the same doctor after me. I ask the nurse why they were treated before me. He tells me no they came before you And it was not like that they came after. Another hour passed, I was waiting for the doctor from 3:10 pm to 5:55 pm. in the room. Finally she comes in and greets me and starts asking me a question and I'm so upset that I didn’t answer. Finally a answer and say I came for a routine check-up, give me the blood results that I want to go. She sees that I am a bit upset and I explain why and the only answer she got was. I didn't know that you were in this room. I looked at the computer and I saw your photo I saw that you were registered but I thought you Didn’t came. And show me the computer saying look at all the people who I took care before you . I look at the computer and I saw 6 people before me. She say I didn’t know that you were in this room. I told The doctor how you didn't know I was in this room if when they took me to the room I saw you in the hallway and I greeted you and you saw me enter it. Then I tell her that I am going to change my doctor's office and that I am going to let Dr. Ortiz know on his page and I Will leave my review. There then she apologized not for her attending me late. She apologized for the nurse And comment that the nurse had been working there Just for a month. I told her One month please and he still haven't learned the basics. Now my question. If she saw me when I greeted her and when She look at the computer saw that I was check in. So who should be blamed for this mismanagement of order with the patients, her or the nurse. Answer me, Dr. Ortiz, you are aware of what your employees do in the office that you direct and the treatment that receptionists, nurses and doctors give to their patients. Pay more attention otherwise they will be many more patient than we leave that office.
Disrespectful and always on your phone

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
