List of John G. Soriano's Reviews
Do NOT go to this office! Dr. Soriano is great but the billing department, claims and prescriptions drops the ball. I've been going back and forth with them since a procedure in February and nothing has been done. I am over $3000 out of pocket because they submitted a claim incorrectly and for nothing since what he prescribed was denied and someone named Christine never submitted to my pharmacy in order to get the prescription needed. What a waste of time and money!
It's a shame that the billing and claims department is so terrible since Dr. Sorriano is a nice guy. I will not be returning to this practice as I am out of pocket of over 3K with nothing to show for it
Tina D. Parsippany, Parsippany, NJ 03 5/9/2022 I have been a patient for a number of years, and fortunately have been in remission so have not needed any treatment since my last colonoscopy in 2020, which was fine. When I called this morning to tell them I had been in the E.R. with severe abdominal pain over the weekend, and was told to follow-up with my G.I. doc, the receptionist cheerily told me he had appointments in July. I said if I was still alive by then I would certainly call back, she said, "Great!" and the call ended. So, really nice people answering the phones, and awesome medical (and human) detachment, but would not recommend for actual medical treatment. If you are sick, and can't just tough it out for a few months, maybe find someone else.

Dr. Soriano is AMAZING! I am the self-proclaimed president of his fan club!!!! Professional, yet personal, he makes you feel like he has been waiting all day just to see you. He explains one's issues in a clear way and exudes a comforting, "It'll be okay" vibe even when delivering not so good news. I do agree with a previous comment that some of the office staff contrasts with Dr. Soriano's welcoming manner.
My wife called to make an appointment and the lady in the office was so rude. She actually hung up on my wife 2 times. She had no patience and actually yelled at her. I hope someone complains to the office manager and makes sure this does not happen to other people. Very unprofessional
This guy is a total loser who should retire. IS a VERY arrogant and condescending person that needs lessons in dealing with people. I think he enjoys being rude. Gets pissed off that you called him because you are having a problem, thats what he's there for. Avoid at all costs.
I love dr Soriano always there at hospital when you need him professional Calm cool and collect Ill be going to his office weekly I recommend them
This guy is a total jerk who should retire. Speaks very arrogant and condescending. Doesn't offer help if your GI problem isn't immediately apparent. Just a scope jockey....Run for the hills!!
Dr. Soriano is a great doctor. He always has a plan and he knows how to check and manage my condition. He has a great bedside manner and his office staff has always been responsive to my medication needs and appointment needs. I wanted to put this review here because I’m in disbelief that some would post negative reviews. I guess the few negative ones make it to the forefront. He’s a great doctor, you needn’t be concerned by the negative reviews.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
