He is awful, avoid him. He dumped me off to another doctor because I asked questions.

Dr Liuzzo was on call when I went to the ER with chest pain. He quickly diagnosed myocardial infarction and took me to the Cath Lab, immediately. I was on the operating table in 10-15 minutes. Dr. Liuzzo performed an angioplasty on me and I got my blood vessels cleaned and three stents put in. He saved my life. After the surgery, he visited me multiple times in my patient room and made sure I understand everything about what happened to me. He prescribed the right medication and explained everything I needed to know. He is a humble, down to Earth person, yet, very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about cardiology. I am eternally grateful for saving my life!

Dr. Liuzzo is an excellent doctor, knowledgeable with exquisite bed side manners. He was able to put my mother at ease after a unexpected test. Take time with his patients and explained every detail.

Dr. Entered the room of my 88 year old father and introduced himself as the heart dr. He was aggressive, rude and condescending. My dad has heart failure and a pace maker and he told us he needed an aortic valve replacement, not a great treatment plan, we fired him.

I was admitted to Hackensack and Dr Liuzzo was the doctor who took care of me. He recommended that I have a procedure to check my heart for blockages and placed a stent that didn’t work. Now my heart isn’t getting enough blood flow. I got a second opinion who said I never needed the procedure. Horrible doctor and not I have to live with this disease.

left me in compromising situation. does not show for appointments, nor reschedules. When i finally got to see him, his 1980 pc could not run program to view diagnostics. Then wondered why I kept coming to him. Weird way to dismiss me as a patient.
