I’m writing this review due to the fact that as a first time new patient visiting this office my experience with the staff was a negative one. The healthcare provider’s staff were unprofessional and ignorant when it came to implementing strategy or taking the appropriate steps in checking me in as a new patient. For instance, when complying with the guidelines provided by the healthcare provider personnel the staff member refused to respect my choice for reading my temperature with the infrared thermometer on my wrist. They refused and told me if I wanted to have my temperature read on that body part I had to show proof of my COVID vaccination card, which I found to be ridiculous, especially when I walked in taking the appropriate precautions wearing my mask, not denying for my temperature to be read. I believe, in order for the healthcare provider’s staff members to improve their patient experience, they need to improve their communication skills and limit adverse events where patients as myself are asked to leave the office when nothing wrong was done on my behalf, all because the staff is not educated on taking the proper steps when checking in patients. if the staff were educated they would know that when reading with an infrared thermometer, the temperature can be taken on either the forehead and wrist as long as that body part of the surface is clean and dry as well as making sure that the thermometer is used from the ideal distance, and not directly on the skin surface in order for the temperature to correctly be read. In addition, from observation no where in the office did a notice read that the patient needs to provide proof of a vaccine card, or that is mandated to read your temperature on the forehead area of the body.

Her staff was extremely patient and warm. Dr. Varma was thorough in her conversation with me. I found her to be patient and warm as well. No hurried conversation and evaluation here. She gives you her total attention. No face in a computer either! I would highly recommend this facility.

Her lack of attention for the patient is terrible. I waited over 2.5 hours to get an explanation from her and she was bothered the whole time when I eventually spoke to her. I asked her questions. As a doctor she should have some type of answer. She insisted to measure me for a compression sock over 5 times without knowing what was wrong with my leg. She wanted to test a doppler after doing it already 3 times on two office visits and wanted me to do the same test over the 4th time (including being in an ER) so I would make another future appointment. I left with no answer to my leg problem and hours of waiting in room to room for her staff to attend me.

A very professional team.

I scheduled and appt. with the dr. Appt, was for 7:45 am. I tried to call office before appt. but could only reach answering service, who agreed to leave a message at office. I reached office a bit late, and office never got a message - apparently they were open when I was talking to answering service. Not good !!! just note this when you go to this dr. Meanwhile, I had to leave because I was late. they gave me another appt.

I still have scars from this office even year after my procedures. It's bad when doctor see allergic reaction and saying, "It's nothing! " I never will recommend this office because of that manner.
