List of Peter Carrazzone's Reviews
Met him in the hospital for the first time. Wonderful.Vanguard Medical and the staff have been there for every respiratory issue that has hit me this winter. Not sure what I would have done without them.
Dr. Carrazzone is a very thorough and caring physician. He has an excellent bedside manner and really listens to his patients.
RUDE...COMMENT IS BULL..BEEN GOIN A FEW YEARS...NICE CARING STAFF...INCLUDING ALL DOC`S..
Been seeing Dr Carrazzone for over ten years. The best most effective most reasonable GPout of DOZENS I have tried in the area. I have severalserious medical conditions and the man works with youfor solutions and stands by you with your employer and theinsurance company. He is TOO popular now, makes it hard toget an appointment! Ten years ago I was desperately ill and saw22 doctors in ONE YEAR . Many were HACKS and some werestellar examples of the craft. Peter is one of those.
I came to see Dr. Carrazzone because of the knee pain. I was seen by diff. doctor before a was prescribed Voltaren gel which did absolutely nothing and pain was getting worse. Dr. Carrazzone is very meticulous, stated that my knee was swollen and hot on touch. I received cortizone shot and in three days I was almost pain free. Now I have no problem with walking a doing things around the house. I am very happy with the results, next time I need doctor I will go to him only.
The wait to see Peter Carrazzone is long and his staff are rude.
I would give them negative stars if that was an option. I've been coming here since about 2003 and they get worse every year. This was originally high mountain health and changed to vanguard medical due to a falling out within the company. I moved to Hopatcong from Wayne and the only reason I still came here was because the doctor I saw was really good until she left the practice...I wonder why. I had an appointment today for a prescription refill...I'm still not sure why they can't call it in, but it's likely to charge me and my insurance for an office visit. Anyway this place is approximately an hour away depending on traffic and of course a car had to flip over on route 80, which only left one lane open. I got here about 25 minutes late and was told I need to wait until they see all the other patients!!!I got here about an hour ago and I'm just sitting here watching patients go in one by one. I still have no idea how long I'm going to be here. So two hours in gridlock and possibly several more hours here in the waiting room, and then at least another hour drive back. Is a refilling a prescription supposed to be an all day event!?!?!This will certainly be the last time I come here
Dr. Carrazzone is a knowledgeable doctor although his entire practice appears to be more worried about collecting money from you then about you getting the proper treatment when needed. That being said I would have to caution anyone wanting to go to this doctor for any reason and maybe he should reread his oath
Now days, it is not so easy to find a good service in any field. Dr.Carrazzone is professional and friendly, highly recommended.
Dr. Carrazzone is the best, professionally and personally. He listens to your every word and explains all diagnosis accurately. I've never known a Dr. so caring about his patients. I have and will always recommend him to friends, family and even strangers if asked.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
