Dr Richardson's practice might look old fashioned and a bit retro (the equipment is all analog!) but the office staff and the doctor himself are top notch. Very attentive, thorough (occasionally a bit late due to being overbooked maybe?) and really responsive. Blood work is seamless and the physician's assistants are very helpful. Dr Richardson is chatty, fatherly and friendly but never lax and never misses a beat.

Phenomenal Doctor. Always has time to sit down and really explain all manners of symptoms and their specific plan of treatments. His bed side manner is better than any other doctor I've ever been to. Very down to earth and does not talk down to you. There should be more doctors like him in this world.

I have been seeing Dr. Richardson for 20 years. Went through a heart attack, bleeding ulcers and lots of other stuff. He is a great doctor and what I like the most is that he listens to you and respects your opinion.

First I want to start off by saying Dr. Richardson and his staffs are top notch. His office has a warm, welcoming vibe and the girls in office are funny and always pleasant .I happen to be sitting in another doctor's office while I write this review. I've recently moved and since doing so my wait times have increased a lot. I've been waiting for almost 2 hours in a waiting area packed full of people. This is how most doctor visits tend to go. Not at Dr. Richardson. He spends time with his patients and his staff barely let you sit down before setting you up in a room. He always spent as much time as I needed with me which is a rarity. I've been lucky to get 3 minutes with other doctors I've been to, and that's IF I actually see the doctor. So instead of writing a bad review for the GI Doctor that I am still waiting to see, I decided to write an excellent review to one of the best care professionals I've ever had when it comes to medicine and health, Dr. Richardson

If you are looking for an internist in Nutley, I recommend Dr. Richardson. Weather you need routine blood work or physicals or have a condition that needs management he is the guy to go see. His staff is friendly and willing to help at every turn. It’s a great office.
