Richard Mojares's Online Review Report Card

One of the best and most through doctors I have been to. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I've known Dr. Mojares for over 20 years and I've never had a bad experience while attending his Walk-in clinic, or now as he is my primary physician. He is thorough, respectful, and genuinely cares about my well-being as a patient and person. His time is well spent in making sure your voice is heard in your treatment and the care with which he treats your issues.

While Dr. Mojares is a great doctor I am finding out the the hassle of dealing with his office is not worth using him as a primary. Dr Mojares is thorough and quite knowledgeable. His office support team is neither of these. They lack compassion, listening skills and it seems that their biggest strength is the ability to refuse to help. If I had to use one work to describe his office staff it would be complacence. It is truly a shame that such a good doctor is soiled by an uncaring staff.

After waiting an hour and a half, I was ushered into the exam room. During the dicussion with the Dr. about which antibiotics I could take, a female worker opened the door and told the doctor someone in another exam room had to be at work soon and couldn't wait any longer. He abruptly got up and left the room! When I realized he was not coming back, I inquired at the front desk about a prescription. None was given and they handed me another patient's follow up instructions! Horrible service!

I was very lucky! I didn't think it was that serious where I thought the emergency room was necessary. I arrived to the office a little after 8am the front desk staff were very kind. Once I completed my paperwork I waited about 5mins in the waiting room which is excellent!!! I had a great experience and I was guided in the right direction. I appreciate the prompt care and treatment I received and would recommend the office to anyone.

Use Dr. Richard as a primary physician in the past at their old location. Waited about an hour for a scheduled appointment at their new clinic. Came in due to horrible back pain that I couldn't walk straight. The doctor didnt even see me, I was seen by a nurse practitioner, she talked to the doctor outside the room. All she wanted to do was prescribe me lots of pain meds and didnt want to order any exam to diagnose what was wrong. Seems like she was just playing doctor and guessed what to do next. Told me she didnt want to send me for xray/MRI because my pain wasnt from a car accident and she didnt want to expose my ovaries to radiation? I had to demand for her to just write the script. In the end, I went to a different MD and had a herniated disc. The desk staff also didnt tell me I wasnt covered by my insurance until after appointment since they are urgent care only.

Dr Mojares is courteous, attentive and cares about my well-being. He is a great doctor that has been serving the Monmouth county public for over 15 years.

one visit I waited in the exam room for almost an hour while the doctor was in the next exam room chatting with a patient about non-health related topics the entire time I was sitting in the next room - then she had the nerve to ask my why I was agitated! Second time I waited over an hour from my appointment time. I asked the front desk staff how much longer is my wait and they said there were 4 people ahead of me! Each of these visits I had a scheduled appointment. I think they double book to make more money! I took my family's medical records and found another doctor!

Great Doctor! He takes his time and he is really caring.
