Extremely disgusted with this doctor. Due to his negligence my husband was close to death. He went to him because of abdominal pain…Dr Guss sent him for blood work twice…this dragged out for a month…when my husband couldn’t take the pain any longer we went to ER where they did emergency removal of gall stone trapped near pancreas. This was followed by gallbladder removal. Because of the delay involved my husband got septic and he developed A fib after surgery…total nightmare caused by inadequate care. Oh and let’s not forget that we never heard from Dr Guss the two weeks we were fighting for my husband’s life…definitely stay away!

I like Dr. Guss, and his partner Dr. Berri as well as the nurse practitioner, I go there once a year for a check up. Yet they have always been attentive and willing to listen and provide advice on lifestyle changes. Dr. Berri over saw my moms abnormal colonoscopy and Dr. Guss keeps an eye on my GI motility after my bariatric surgery. There is a wait time when you check in, yet you should always plan ahead and make sure that you prioritize your visit on your schedule. The Dr. and staff need the time to accommodate every patient. You can not rush them because you have am engagement after their visit. You make your Dr. Visits a priority first and foremost always.

Run away as fast as you can from the clowns who run this office absolutely disgraceful Dr needs to clean house and get new competent staff

Dr. Guss to all his staff has been excellent. Anytime I call with a question or concern it was answered right away. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Guss. The only was the wait for my initial appointment but taking all other factors into account this is a great place

I've been Dr. Guss's patient for more than 5 years. He is excellent, listen to your issues and tries to find a solution together. He is respectful and goes beyond his practice to help his patients. I will definitely recommend Dr. Guss to family and friends.

The most unprofessional and obnoxious dr. He threw the word cancer around - then talked politics!!! He was arrogant and I would NEVER set foot in that office again. The staff was also not great. Terrible terrible experience

Dr. Guss listened to me with understanding and compassion. My prior Gastro did not listen and never showed the level of understanding and knowledge that Dr. Guss showed. He follows up and helped me feel better quickly. The staff were very pleasant and helpful! Love them all!!

I became a patient of Dr. Guss for a GI problem, and also planned to schedule a lower and upper GI. I had a consultation with the doctor who prescribed medication to alleviate the pain caused by my symptoms. On a minimum of four occasions, I needed to contact the office. In one case, because I was in horrible pain. I felt like the person who answered the phone believed her job was to put people on hold until they would hang up. I must have made her job difficult because I remember holding for at least a half hour several times, including the time when I was in horrible pain. When I asked to schedule the upper and lower GI for the same day, Dr. Guss refused, although I never got to talk to him. I was just put on hold for another half hour, and the woman who answered the phone relayed the "no" message. There was not discussion. So I called another GI doctor, had both performed the same day, and became a patient of the other doctor.
