Doh Y. Cha's Online Review Report Card

I was sent to Dr. Cha as a result of an ER visit resulting from a large kidney stone. Within 48 hours of my ER visit, I was able to see Dr. Cha and have surgery. He was incredibly accommodating in fitting me in, despite what is clearly a packed schedule. He explained the circumstances and made me feel at ease with the surgery, and was equally pleasant at my follow-up. I'd recommend anyone to him as I felt that he was a fantastic diagnostician. I'd also be remiss if I did not mention their surgical coordinator, Teryann, who was honestly PHENOMENAL. She assisted both before, and after, the surgery, and was pleasant, professional, and truly caring. A total gem. In terms of the office in general, very professional, but I have to acknowledge that getting in touch with the office itself was virtually impossible, as others have mentioned, which was beyond frustrating.

Dr Cha is so incredibly knowledgeable and competent. He has helped me with any complications concerning my bladder with patience and expertise. I would not trust any MD but him to help alleviate these issues. A gem!

5 stars to Dr ZERO stars to office Dr Cha is an excellent Dr. Courteous yet not condescending And explains everything until I fully understand. He is also not eager to do surgery but try alternatives first. With that being said it’s a shame his office is so poorly run. I had surgery September 28 and was to have a follow up visit in 2 weeks. The first week I couldn’t get through on the phone. I left messages on a machine. By October 5 there was a message saying there was phone maintenance- I left more messages. On Oct 8 they had answering service who was going to fax over and have someone call me. Nope. Needless to say it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t been able to get in touch with his office. It’s time for me to have a follow up appointment yet I cannot reach out to anybody to make it. They also have no email so I cannot notify them by email. It’s a shame that such a fine doctor like Dr. Cha is going to lose patients because There is no one to answer the phones.

Dr. Cha is wonderful. Very thorough and explains everything. His office staff is the WORST I have ever come across!!

Dr. Cha is kind and courteous. I had to take my 84 year old relative to see him, and he was very respectful and sweet. He took his time and explained everything. I highly recommend him! The Old Bridge office seemed very well run as well.

I had just taken my daughter for an ultrasound. I told the office I had the disk with me. Dr. Cha ignored that, and took his own ultrasound in the office, which he looked at for less than three seconds and which ended up costing me $70. I called when I got the bill, and he wouldn't talk to me. He also rushed us in and out and didn't seem to have much knowledge about pediatric urology.

Dr. Cha requested my son to schedule a separate office visit only to tell him that all tests were fine. Never heard of this! And we were charged a full office visit for a 1 minute discussion. Would not recommend and will never use him again!! Office staff is no better.
