Dr. Smith was the pediatrician for my oldest until he was 2 years old and also for my youngest for the first year or so. Unfortunately we moved to Newton nj so I had to switch pediatricians. Let me tell you that Dr. Smith is so wonderful knowledgeable and genuinely caring. When he did the wellness checkups with my oldest he just seemed very genuine. He listened to you and was gentle playful and expert with my sons. He always answered my questions and concerns. There were a couple of times I had to call after hours and he always returned the calls. My new pediatrician is vastly different. He was almost robotic and we were just a number. The office itself is big and the sick kids are kept in a separate area. There are also toys and a big fishtank to keep the kids occupied. The staff is very professional and i never had to wait too long. A huge difference from here in newton nj. I really miss dr. Smith and am so tempted to go back to him if only it wasnt a 1 1/2 hour away!

Dr.smith treats you as if he is reading from a textbook right in front of you. Sometimes you shouldn't give parents too much information until you actually know something. I brought my child in with a virus and wanted to get ears and throat checked. I left the office so upset thinking my child was seriously ill. Dr.smith made me worry even more..my children will never see this dr.again. My husband was with me and could not believe how terrible he was to us :(

I am switching to Dr Smith after taking my child to another MD for the last seven years. What a difference! Being a medical professional myself, I understand the time constraints of practicing today, but was thouroughly impressed by Dr. Smith's patience and willingness to answer my questions as well as his ability to cover many important topics directly with my daughter. Would definitely recommend him.
