Richard Campo's Online Review Report Card

I've been a patient of Dr. Campo's for 16-17 years, first as a sole practitioner and now part of a larger practice. He is easy to speak with and makes things understandable. Prescriptions are filled on a timely basis. Office staff is friendly.

Stay away. He is an evil.

I have seen Dr. Campo over 10 years. I suffer from a kidney malformation which causes constant UTIs amongst other issues (I am female). This doctor is friendly, has your best interest at heart, and I trust him. I see claims he misdiagnosed or did not diagnose cancer. I can’t believe this could ever be true. I am SURE there is a second side to those stories and for those reading I’d like you to take that highly into consideration. Dr. Campo has degrees from many universities amongst other board licensures which back up the fact with his training I find these claims hard to come by. Simply put try Campo once, if you feel uncomfortable don’t go back. Make your own judgement. I give him an A.

Wouldn't refill prescription unless I came again

Office staff should be fired. their objective is to avoid contact with patients and to take their next break. Office staff is not patient directed. Dr. Campo, himself, is OK when he shows up, which seems to be about 1/5th of when you expect him to show up. Feedback is non-existant. No treatment plan, none communicated at least. Find another practice this one is the pits.

I have used Dr Campo since 2007 and have enjoyed every yearly appointment. He will take the time to explain anything you ask him and gives honest answers. A great bedside manner - I am never afraid to ask him about any issue or question I may have. I have also never had to wait long to meet with him. Typically just several minutes wait - never an hour or even a half hour. I think I am in and out of his office in 30-45 minutes including paying my copay, the visit and scheduling the next appointment.

Saw Dr. Campo for a vascetomy and all good. You go into office for consultation where he explains the whole process in detail and answers questions.Onto his facility in saddle brook where it happens. In and out within 2 hours and back to work in 3 days.Had some swelling after week 3 so I called and they got me into seeing him the following morning. I cannot ask for better service than that.Don't choose a Dr. based on his staff. Would you rather bad Dr. and amazing staff??

He's a bit wierd. The people on his staff are the pits. I think he just wants to do surgerys. He hires the worst staff, and hopes all his patients stop coming to him after their surgery. He operated on me for prostate cancer in Jan 2010. stayed with him for about 2 years. On office visits after the surgery, he never touched once .....

I suffer from kidney stones and it can be very painful. Dr. Campo's staff has always been able to fit me in during office hours so I did not have to endure the ER. Dr Campo is knowledgable, kind, and actually spends time with you discussing all options and procedures. He is THE DOC to see if you need a urologist.

Dr. Campo is great and I'd highly recommend him. However, I do echo some of the concerns others have expressed about his practice staff. Results from my test came in, but they did not contact me - I had to call in after a few days to ask about the results and then they got Dr. Campo to call me back (which he did pretty quickly).
