I'm only giving 2 stars because the doctor was good til after my surgery. I've been trying to get a appointment over a month to adjust my band and Noone calls back.

Received alot of information on 1st visit. Office staff was kind.

Very friendly staff and very professional. Best experience with the doctor and staff. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a bariatric group.

Doctor is very nice, he’s a great doctor, I’m very disappointed that my surgery was scheduled and everything was good to go and then got canceled the day before due to pending insurance I don’t understand why the billing dep at the doc office didn’t situate all this prior it’s so frustrated I have a hernia the size of a softball growing and I’m trying to hold off as long as possible so I can have the duo switch and hernia repair at the same time and it’s so frustrating I’m still waiting on another schedule date for surgery I do not and will not go threw the whole process again so hopefully they can pick up where they left off smh. So frustrating I have a disabled child and planning ahead is something I had to prepare for when my date was originally scheduled last month smh now I have to wait and redo it all again and patiently wait AGAIN

Everything was a smooth process from the consultation all the way to the day of the surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Gritsus!! I lost a total of 120 pounds!! I feel like a totally new person!!

I wish I went to a different surgeon since I haven’t seen gritus since I had surgery in October I’ve had multiple complications and only see the assistant also I’m supposed to be seen every month I can never get through for my appointments thier excuse is always he has so many patients am I not a patient also

I had my first consult with him in April 2022. I finished all my nutrition appointments and therapy appointment by July. I was told that he switched to the Ny bariatric group in August and haven’t heard from him since. I called the office twice and was told he would get to me shortly and never has. I literally feel like i wasted my time, i could have found another doctor but i didn’t want to start the process all over again!

Don't be fooled by the ratings. Not even sure how they got sucha high rating when they don't know what the whole entire office is doing. First of all, the appointment was at 3 pm then they pushed it out to 5pm without any apology when someone took the entire afternoon from work for this appointment. Finally, my husband saw the GI doctor but he was reluctant to do the endoscopy because he thinks there is nothing wrong with him. Although my husband explained to the doctor that it was prescribed by his primary for routine check up which is done at his age. I mean it's called preventable check ups for a reason. I am surprised that he is a doctor and does not know that...plus we called the office at least 5 times but still no appointment yet. Whoever answered the phone at the front desk had the audacity to tell me that maybe it's taking too long because they are busy...ok then they shouldn't have taken a new patient if they cannot handle it. What a joke!
