I am a retired RN and Lupus.patient. Dr Thamas developed a plan of care that addressed my spine, knee and hip pain. He also covered my post-op pain following spinal fusion and knee replacement surgery. We didn't always agree. However, in retrospect - everything he did was to keep me safe. Excellent physician physician to whom I am very grateful for alleviating my pain while keeping me safe.
Personally, I have never been in health facilities, except my general check up. But, I got injured at work place. I did some research and found Dr. David Pouled who is very kind and understanding your concern. He goes above and behind to give you best care. Dr Pouled, introduced me to Dr Tomas who is great as well. He explains all the detail about your questions. Also, he explain everything on the human skeleton about your damage arias. Thanks to you both ..
Disappointed with my visit on July 25 . I never got to see the Dr. There was an issue with him running late. We sat in the room for over an hour waiting until someone came in to say he was running late. I understand things can go wrong and the Dr. can run late but that was a little to long to be sitting there not knowing what was going on!
Dr. Thomas treated me for seven years after my spinal fusion in 2007. He explained everything very easily and laid out in a complete comprehensive treatment plan to deal with my spinal fusion before and after surgery. I never encountered any problems Dealing with Dr. Thomas, he was always there for me, when I needed him the most. I would recommend him to anyone needing pain management treatment.
I went to doctor Thomas in a lot of pain in the beginning all was well I took his recommendation of getting shots to destroy my nerves in my lower back. I went two times first to see if it would work and the second time to destroy the nerve Well during the two months of healing I was still in a lot of pain When I went back to see him to say I still have a lot of pain what now?? He told me he got nothing and dismissed me. Now I’m still in pain looking for a new doctor because HE GOT NOTHING!!!
I was not able to see my regular pain management doctor so the staff scheduled me with Vinoo. In trying to explain my pain levels, history & explain medications Vinoo was too busy stroking his own ego. Vinoo would be happiest if the examine rooms were mirrored so he could adore himself. In attempting a medical examine & discussion I was berated, accused of abusing meds & told to get out. He yelled at the staff to advise my doctor, senior to this charlatan, to discontinue my meds. I have chronic pain, cannot walk 60% of the time while having to work, was left in disbelief, tears & afraid of what this lunatic was capable of doing. Vinoo was in a rage, the staff was mortified & thankfully my doctor did not take heed (obviously knowing Vinoo is inferior & a lunatic). Maybe he was irate because I didn't tell him how wonderful he was or was seeking something more? Vinoo is a pain management doctor, his job is to manage pain in patients not to berate them, not make them feel worse while making himself feel better. Not everyone is seeking meds due to being an addict, it's very possible he/she is actually in horrible pain. Not everyone is a liar, some of us speak the truth & are in relentless pain. This guy is a raging lunatic, best suggestion is to look elsewhere (Dr Kreitzer, same group, is an excellent doctor).
He was great at first.I have chronic abdominal pain no drs could diagnose or help me with.He put me on pain med & I was pain free for the 1st time in my adult life. However, when I went into the hospital for major surgery(bowel resection)for reasons I will never know,he decided to drastically REDUCE my dosage When I went to his office for 1 last script,(surgery did not help my pain)he treated me like some low-life drug addict, told me not not to come back, not to call,he wouldn’t accept my calls.
Dr. Thomas is a very skilled pain management physician. His expertise in the area of cortisol injections has afforded me 7 years pain free from a chronic herniated disc condition. He’s the only doctor I would trust to manage my care. And, I travel out of state to see him. Highly recommend Dr. Vinoo Thomas.
I met this doctor last week. He understood my problem, and quickly made arrangements to help resolve my issue with anti inflammatory medication and some sort of shot in the neck/back within 5 days. I am nervous by nature, and, this doctor was super capable, inspired confidence, and so far so good. I am a fan. Glad to have met him.
Had a terrible experience with this doctor...he merely mocked me at my apppointment for making multiple appointments in one day and did not help me at all with my problem. There are much better doctors in this city. Go to NYU or Cornell to have a better experience. I've never had a doctor make me feel so bad. He was condescending and rude to me for no real reason.

It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
