List of Eric A Strauss's Reviews
Doesn't rush you. Comprehensive, knowledgeable and good office staff. Never wait long for appointments.
I had a mark in my eyebrow. I asked Dr Strauss to biopsy it and he told me not to worry - it was nothing. I asked him to please biopsy it because I really wanted it biopsied. He biopsied it and the results were Basal Cell Carcinoma. I had lesions on my legs. He told me not to worry, it was due to my age. He recommended over the counter cream and said that I would like the results. When one in particular got worse instead of better - I want for a second opinion. The new Doctor immediately biopsied it and the results are a Squamous Cell Carcinoma. There is no excuse for Dr Strauss' lack of interest and poor judgement. If this is the way he treats his patients, then he shouldn't be practicing.
Kind and caring and a very good diagnostician. Excellent bedside manner. Would recommend him highly.
Dr Strauss is Very informative and attentive professional , addressed all my questions. Nice office, nurse and staff.
Been a patient of Dr Strauss for over 20 years. Always correct and Professional. Highly recommaneded.

Eric Strauss performs unnecessary tests which cost hundreds of dollar out of pocket. Did not take his time to examine conditions well. I came to Eric Strauss for a skin rash, and was suggested a biopsy in order to diagnose the origin of the rash. Inquired both him, and the front desk whether this procedure would be covered by insurance, and I was assured that insurance covers the bulk of this test. The biopsy wound up costing hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The office staff are not knowledgeable nor transparent with insurance costs. Eric Strauss did not take time to listen or answer questions, I was rushed very out quickly. I was told to hold off on questions on hormonal acne, and save them for the follow-up visit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
