List of Eric S. Applebaum Md's Reviews
Dr. Applebaum is an amazing allergist. I have seen a few allergists in my life and he is by far the best. He is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. His staff is also wonderful. I highly recommend him!
I saw Dr. Applebaum on the recommendation of a friend. He was extremely thorough in his diagnostics and treatment, yet without doing any unnecessary testing. I wish I saw him years ago. By the time I saw him, I had a lingering upper respiratory infection, frequent bronchitis or sinusitis, and I was not managing my asthma and allergies correctly. His treatment and lifestyle recommendations helped immensely. He also helped me to become more comfortable with using my inhalers. His employees were all very professional.
I went to Dr. Applebaum to test any potential food allergies I might have since I suffer from breathing issues and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have any unnecessary inflammation from anything I was eating. I think anyone with breathing issues, arthritis or any inflammatory condition would be well served by taking the time to figure out which foods they are reactive to. Dr. Applebaum does a comprehensive food allergy test, and then sends you home with clear instructions on how to do an elimination diet and then slowly add back the foods you are reactive to in the teat, so you can identify which foods are actually causing a problem. My health overall has greatly improved from going to Dr. Applebaum. His office staff are really helpful and pleasant, and it’s clear Dr. Applebaum really cares about his patients, and does not rush you, but takes the time to explain and answer all questions.

Didn’t want to go into the office and expose my son during the covid pandemic since he was healthy and not experiencing any complications. He needed his 2 year bloodwork done but they wouldn’t give us a blood work prescription for his peanut allergy without seeing him. Apparently after three months he is not considered under his care (he was there 5 months ago). Asked for virtual or over the phone. Won’t accommodate. Asked to speak to doctor they wouldn’t let me. Staff had poor customer service. Will be switching doctors. ****In response to your comment, it was not 6 months and we were told by your staff on the phone that after THREE MONTHS he was no longer considered a patient and you would not be able to help us. Also, that we were not allowed to speak to the Doctor over the phone. Luckily, we found a great allergist with a great staff that are able to fit our needs, and who do not remove my son from their care after not seeing him for a short period of time.
In the midst of the corona virus I asked that they call in my prescription instead of me having to go in for a visit. They refused and when I persisted they canceled my appointment and told me to find another doctor. I'm disappointment in Dr. Applebaum and recommend you find another allergist. His bed side manner isn't great either... unless you enjoy being talked down to for 15 minutes.
Dr. Applebaum is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is smart and experienced and has an especially attentive and caring demeanor with his patients. I came to him with a terrible bronchial condition that my Family Practice doctor had been treating me for, with no success. Dr. Applebaum's treatment restored me to health and he made me a priority, frequently following up with me and adjusting treatment. He answered my calls promptly when I called after hours. I highly recommend him.
On 1/31/2019, visited this office for the first time. I waited in the waiting area approx. 15-20 minutes. I went there for multiple Allergic Reactions to different foods at random times. The Doctor (E. Applebaum) tested me for ASTHMA and prescribed me two steroids. I assured him that I don't have asthma and he insisted that I do. He was totally dismissive to my symptom's/complaints. I was in the patient's room for approx.. 20 minutes with the Doctor when he left to another patients room. When he came back I told him that I don't need steroids, but he wrote the script and sent it to CVS. I didn't pick up the medicine, as I told him that I don't need it... I got a bill for extended time with the Doctor for 200.00$. I called the office and spoke with Pricilla-office manager who was unprofessional and condescending. I requested my medical records and Pricilla stated that they will charge me 1$ dollar per page for my first request. Pricilla e-mailed me the released form in which I filled out/sign and e-mailed back, but she will not accept it. She wants it to be dropped off in person just to be in command. This is my first review and not a pleasant one. I refuse to be treated poorly and unfair when I'm paying them to provide a professional, outstanding service. Unfortunately, that's not what I got, instead it's been the worst experience I have ever had. I don't want anyone else to be subjected to this type of UNPROFESSIONAL TREATMENT...
Allergy shots provide some relief to annual allergies. Dr appleabaum is good and office operations is good
Dr applebaum was more thorough than any doctor I’ve ever been do. His questions and the time he spent were so remarkable. I feel very lucky that he’s my allergist

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
