I had my first visit with dr doria at his office at capital health hopewell nj hospital. I found him to be very knowledgeable. he does not rush through his examination and certainly takes the time needed to listen to and answer any questions asked to him. he speaks to you in a calm ressuring voice with his diagnosis and his plan to correct the issue.

I recently had an office visit with dr doria at his capital health hopewell hospital office. I found him to be very knowledgeable with a professional caring attitude. he takes the time needed to listen to and answer questions asked to him. he has a plesant helpful nursing and administrative staff.

Dr. Doria diagnosed my dad with liver cancer and liver cirrhosis. I went with my dad to the first appointment so I could get all of our questions answered. We both asked questions and really did not receive any answers or get any information of what was going to happen. He scheduled my father five weeks out which I thought was strange. Within those five weeks, my dad‘s health severely declined. He was in constant pain, Nauseous all the time, and developed high fevers. We both tried getting in touch with his office staff to find out what was going on and we never received a phone call back. My dad developed Acitis and the office staff never even called him back. My father passed away two days later. I even asked Doria in person why he waited so long to do the surgery and not only did he get an attitude with me for asking, he got defensive and didn’t even answer my question. I honestly feel like Dr. Doria has robbed my family and I of potentially five more years. I know the life expectancy of liver cancer with cirrhosis is low but I’m more upset that they didn’t tell us what was going on and the lack of humanity basically. If you do decide to have you surgery with him and his staff make sure you’re aggressive with them. Ask questions and if he doesn’t answer go get a second opinion, I wish I did because they neglected my dad and now I’m without a father at 27.

I’d give 5 stars to the staff they are really nice but dr.doria is not. I had a tumor on my liver and it was a 50/50 chance it was life threatening or not, He didn’t know, couldn’t make up his mind, telling me one thing and another, and I had to wait two months for surgery in pain and he was rude and disrespectful when we wanted to see him for biopsy results. We left and my primary doctor suggested another surgeon for surgery. I did not want him to do surgery on me and he acted like he was high almighty and didn’t care. You are supposed to create a friendly bond with your patient and help them, not be a disrespectful bigot.

My father was very ill due to cirrhosis of the liver. His health severely declined in a short amount of time and he received a liver transplant. My father was critically ill after his transplant and Dr. Doria literally brought him back to life! He spend alot of time with my father as well as my family. He is a genius and so extremely caring! We love him and can't say enough wonderful things about him!!!

Dr. Doria was extrememly attentive through out the entire process of caring for my step daughter. He is soft spoken, gentle and took his time to make sure he explained and answered all our questions. Dr. Doria did a right liver lobectomy on my step daughter and she came through the surgery with no problems at all which was a miricle! I would highly recommend Dr. Doria and his staff.
