The best bedside manner ever! When I had a car accident in NJ where I lived at the time he fixed me with a laminectomy and I had to return him 4 years later for a neck issue and I fly from Texas to NJ just to do it. He talks fast but I understand him and I know he has my best interest! I trust him….. ❤️

He spent less than 5 minutes with me. The visit was rushed. He minimized some issues I had and didn't give any chance for questions. He did not explain anything and neglected to tell me about a tumor. He did not ask me any questions about my symptoms. He did not even properly examine me the way my previous neurosurgeon who was very good always did. My old neurosurgeon saved my life because he actually did his job and treated his patients with dignity. I rarely had questions for my old doctor because he explained things so well, but when I did he was patient and answered them. Not so with Buono. Yet, he somehow wrote in his notes that I have no symptoms, which is not true. I know they have a lot of patients, but they still have to do their jobs properly and treat every patient with dignity. All patients deserve quality care. Patients die because of negligent doctors like this. This is why so many people go out of area for their care, despite the travel being a hardship for many. His Pa, Jacob was responsive, as was the nurse(forgot her name). But Capital health has many problems with their staff, not just this office. It's almost like Capital Health seeks to hire those who have no empathy or human decency because this is a constant with capital health employees, whether it's their hospitals or doctor's offices, except for a few rare gems. They have kind doctors and nurses, but they often seem forced to rush patients. Fix it, Capital Health.

Great Doctor. Dr Buono has a great staff as well. Dr Buono tells you how it is and has your best interest at heart.

15 years have passed since my husband's third back surgery. Dr. Buono left Texarkana and moved north. So did we. We will drive the 4 hours to see him if my husband ever needs another surgery. Best surgeon ever and great beside manner. He saved my husband from a misdiagnosis. We we never forget his kindness.

Dr Buono did my back surgery he is a awesome doctor and his PA Jacob is the best. My surgery and turn around time was perfect. I highly recommend him for Neuro Surgery.

Capital Healt Sys telephone service is awful!!! Impossible to get a human on the phone to contact doctor's office. Just spent 30 min "talking" to their computer.
