Dr. Santamaria performed cataract surgery on my eye two years ago after which there were complications. He told me that my eye was improving which was not true. Now I have to go to a different ophthalmologist every three months and take eye drops every night to prevent my eye from becoming red, tearing, and being light sensitive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Santamaria for ten years and he has always been very professional, caring, thorough and personable. This was my first visit to the Perth Amboy office and the staff there treated my wife and me extremely well. We have always had good experiences at the Menlo Park office and this was just one more.
