I visited Dr Rao as I needed to find a new PCP after my insurance changed. I have stage 3/severe hypertension along with depression, anxiety, & insomnia. She completely disregarded my concerns even though they were documented via two previous PCP’s. (One PCP was amazing but his practice stopped taking my insurance after years. The other PCP appt was abrasive and I decided to look for another.) She insisted that I see a psychiatrist in order to continue my Lexapro and Trazadone. While that was strange to me I didn’t care that much because it made semi sense. Ironically my prescription of Lisinopril ended. I still considered her my PCP and my pharmacy contacted her office yesterday 4.17.21 and it was denied. Lisinopril. For hypertension. Denied. Forget about any of my other medications. She denied Lisinopril.

Dr. Rao is a really good doctor. She doesn't brush everything under the rug. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and addresses all of your concerns. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr. Rao is also very good in returning calls and follow up visits. Highly recommend her as a PCP.

I had an appointment on Jan. 8th for annual check up. It was cancelled by doctor due to non availabilty. Understandable, it can happen. But when asked for new appointment I was told we do not have any appointment until Feb. 23. Cancelled appointments should be priortised. I love the services provided by doctor. Best ever doctor I ever met so far. But customer service is so poor. Definitely need improvements.

Dr. Rao is a great doctor, very knowledgeable and she addressed all my concerns. I love that she called me herself with my results in a very quick time frame! Wait time in the office was not very long. Staff was also polite. Clean office. No complaints. Recommend this office 100%

Moving to NJ and switching PCP was very frightening! From my first Televisit with Dr. Rao to the first in office visit, she made me feel at ease. She addressed all of my concerns and was very thorough with explaining the plan of care. I’m so grateful for finding her. My experience with the office staff has been great as well!

Dr. Rao is an amazing physician! She is so thorough during our visits and I genuinely feel she is concerned with my health. She also has shown through our conversations that she is culturally aware and can suggest or make educated inferences based on my background. Very appreciative to have her as my primary care doctor.Added plus: office is clean and staff is friendly.
