Elliot Sambol's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sambol treated my varicose veins in both my legs. I was in pain for many years and had a lot of bumps on both legs. He took time to explain each procedure. Since my treatments, my legs not only look better, but also the swelling (bumps) have gone down and also the swelling in my ankles are gone. I do a lot of walking at my job and I am no longer in any pain from my veins. Also, the office staff is extremely friendly!

I was referred to Dr. Sambol in March of this year, with what was thought to be severe vascular disease, but through testing, turned out to be 100% blockage of my Iliac artery which supplies blood to my lower body and my legs. From my first appointment with Dr. Sambol, through to surgery day and all my follow ups, I knew I was in the best hands possible, Im 53 yrs old and never thought I would be facing something so life threatening or changing. I remember my first visit and learning some of the bad news, I started crying, and he immediately took my hand and told me, were gonna be okay. He advised me that we needed to do more tests, and I had to quit smoking. So, I quit smoking, and had some tests done and my surgery was in June, what he did to me and for me, was no easy task, but here I am, months later, fully recovered, with a new lease on life, and Im forever thankful and grateful to Dr. Sambol. He is the best, he had my life in his hands and he took the best possible care of me, and I absolutely love him, he does amazing work.

My experience with Dr Sambol was great. Right from my first visit through my procedure and follow up he always explained everything in detail to me and listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. Everyone that works there is also extremely friendly and helpful.

Dr. Sambol performed several procedures on me. As you would expect I was nervous but Dr. Sambol explained the process & we moved forward. His expertise has been a blessing. The care provided by Dr. Sambol & his nursing staff (especially Betty) has changed my life for the better. I will always be grateful for his care & guidance.

Dr. Sambol is incredibly knowledgeable and perhaps one of the kindest doctors I’ve encountered. He genuinely cared about my health and my surgical plan. He thoroughly explained all options. Outstanding! Highly recommended!!

Dr Sambol recently performed two ablations and then surgically removed my varicose veins (I had a lot of them!). Dr Sambol was friendly, efficient and a clear communicator. I never had to wait very long in the waiting room. The staff was also friendly, and my leg looks better than it has in years!

Dr. Sambol may well be a decent doctor. How would I know? My appointment time? 2:15. I arrived at 2:00. At 2:40 I still hadn't been called in to see the doctor. The waiting room was packed. Another man said his appointment was at 1:45 and he still hadn't been called. Same with the women next to him. I asked the receptionist when I might be called. She checked and said there were five people ahead of me in the waiting room, not counting the people stacked up in examining rooms. It would be at least another hour. Total waiting time from appointment time? 1 1/2 hours estimated before being even called. No thanks. I left. So did another patient who'd been waiting since 1:30. This is the second visit I've had to this practice (the last one to his partner, Dr. Goldfarb). Same thing. Nearly 2 hr wait last time. No respect for their patients. I'll happily go elsewhere.

I was very nervous when I was about to have a procedure, but Dr. Sambol puts you at ease immediately. He is very professional and kind and he lightens things up with a bit of humor. He explains the details clearly and answers any and all concerns. He is truly a first class professional.
