Corrupt. Facility needs to be shut down.

I was unfairly sedated when I stayed at 1 Pines (the psychiatric unit) in February. I was hospitalized for severe PTSD symptoms. On my second night there (2/25/2022), I left my room to get a cup of water. I had slept all day. I was still in my hospital gown because I didn’t have my clothes back yet. I was so out of it and I didn’t know why I was still in my gown. When I passed the nurse’s station on the way back to my room, I asked if I could get my clothes back. I was ignored, so I asked again. The male nurse who was there said I wasn’t getting my clothes back until tomorrow. Nobody told me before this that the psychiatrist decides when you get your clothes back. This made me upset, so I screamed “oh my god” and threw my styrofoam cup of water down the hallway and a stormed into my room. I sat in the bathroom sobbing and so out of it. I heard the nurse from earlier say “Isabella? Come out.” I came out of the bathroom to find the nurse holding *two* needles, and had three male security guards surrounding him. He told me to pull down my pants and lay down on the bed so he could give me the shots. I am a twenty-two year old woman and I knew I couldn’t do anything about four men cornering me in a room, so I pulled down my pants and laid down on the bed. It was humiliating. He gave me the two shots, and said something snarky (I don’t remember what it was). I remember thinking afterwards that he might have been mad I threw something on the floor because I saw him riding a big cleaning machine a few minutes before. They knew the trauma as to why I was there and they did this. I did not feel safe in this hospital.

After having two bad experiences at Inspira in Vineland, I said to myself, the next time I’m going to Mainland, even though it’s farther away. I just was discharged and must say that it went down hill a lot. I mean a lot. The emergency room seemed disorganized and there was no communication. I was about to be discharged by a PA who never even examined me. Then after an argument, decided to admit me so I could see a rheumatologist the next day. I was there four days and was told there was no rheumatologist and to make an appointment. Also in that note, they said they couldn’t make an appointment for me, even though they said it was urgent I see one. I have been to a couple doctors where their staff can get you quick appointments with other doctors. Then my attending doctor, she was a nightmare. I begged her for days for IV fluids and was denied them because my labs didn’t show I needed them, and because they wouldn’t work. Her words. After the third day, I begged her for fluids. She relented but said if I saw any progress it would be psychological. I must have some super great placebo effect brain. After two hours, I felt some type of relief. A day of fluids almost got me 90%. The next day, she acted like the fluids were her idea. I was eventually discharged with no answers, except for follow up with these doctors. Very uncaring staff. I will never go back

On July 29th, I was waiting only a very short amount of time before both myself and my mother were called back into the Endoscopy Center in the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus. I am no stranger to having Colonoscopies and Endoscopies. I was a bit nervous at first. I've been to both good places, and bad places. Not mentioning any specific names of course. However, I recall the first nurse who welcomed me. Her name was Dana I believe. From the moment she took us back, had me in the stretcher, and then assembled the team of nursing staff to assist me, getting me hooked up to the blood pressure cuff, the heart monitors etc.... It was very smooth, precise, pristine. What REALLY impressed me, overall, with the entire experience was how they used their instincts. Instead of struggling to find my vein for the IV (granted, all the liquid I had been putting in went through me the day before with prep) they called another individual who used an Ultrasound to find my vein. That moment is when I knew, I was in very good hands. And then my doctor arrived. Dr. Ognibene. From the first moment of bringing me back, to the anesthesiologist administering the medication to sedate me for the procedure, each and every one of the team members made me feel at ease through the entire procedure. Of course I made them all laugh a few times because, life is way to short to be miserable. If I can make someone laugh, even as a patient before a procedure or as a healthcare worker myself, then I am content. After the procedure was over, the treatment I received, being brought a drink of water, making sure that I was coming out of sedation properly, and then getting a very safe and comfortable wheelchair to bring me out to my car, everybody in that Endoscopy Center in that hospital made me feel amazing. So, that is why I am giving this hospital a 5 star rating. Because never have I received such wonderful care and treatment. Don't get me wrong, I've had some great doctors, but I've also had some bad experiences in some health care centers. Needless to say, now I can rest assured knowing that I'll be able to recover properly and get onto the road to cure what is happening. With that being said. Their cardiac care was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly , caring staff.

CAME HERE BECAUSE MY SON WAS HAVING AN ISSUE AS I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW I AM SITTING IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT 330AM I ARRIVED HERE AT 12AM I USUALLY TAKE MY SON TO THE ER AT CHOP IN PHILLY WHERE THE LONGEST I EVER WAITED WAS 15MIN NEXT TIME I WILL TAKE THE 1HR 15MIN DRIVE OVER A 20 MIN DRIVE AND SITTING IN A WAITING ROOM FOR 3.5HRS PLUS

Absolutely disgusting, dirty, rude and no compassion at all . Urine in the bathroom all over toilet and floors , flies everywhere, if they Aren’t landing on you they are dead all over the ER room floor . Told them I was having trouble breathing etc had people waiting for over 6 hours , I left and drove to shore memorial in somers point , they seen me right away .

We came here to be checked out after a car accident. We were seen and treated relatively quickly and were able to pick up the necessary medications at the pharmacy on site.

Place deserves a 0 staff is extremely rude especially at the front desk

Horrible I completely understand staff is short and really sympathize they are short staff but this has been the worst emergency rooms I’ve ever experienced I was in 11 hours just for a UTI.
