List of Andrew M. Bernstein's Reviews
Updated::july 2021 - months later i came back to this hospital and met Dr Bernstein...he is amazing, we discussed our concerns and he made sure that everything is smooth. The infusion nurses are great and warm.
Dr. Berstein is great! My husband has cancer and he always answers all my questions, no matter what. Office staff is great! I recommend him to everyone
Less than Zero would be a more accurate rating. The events that drive this rating are numerous and I will add them in the days to come but I need to start somewhere. The staff is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with and Dr Bernstein has lost touch with what his patients are actually going through.Do your self a favor expand your range and do not stay local you owe it your yourself and your loved one's to go to a qualified facility.
could care less about his patients. Assembly line doctor, no idea how to follow up
Absolutely the best! Dr. Bernstein, his office staff, lab staff, nurses and infusion team are professional, compassionate and truly supportive. Through all of my treatments they were all there for me...24/7 if ever needed and took their time answering any questions that I had. From my first appointment, I truly knew I was in good hands which boosted my confidence that if I could beat my non-Hodgkins lymphoma, I would be able to by having this team on my side. I was blessed to have been referred to him.
I was diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma over a year ago. And while I was terrified and overwhelmed, Dr. Bernstein and everyone in the office and infusion room were always there to support me. I always felt at home and cared for when I came into the office or for chemotherapy. Dr. Bernstein is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to go well out of his way to help. And the staff makes an effort to get to know you as a person. Because of his expertise, I am showing no sign of disease. I cannot thank Dr. Bernstein and his entire staff enough.
This is the most unprofessionally run office I have ever seen. I've had a lot of experience with oncology practices and this one is horrible. Rude and disorganized. Dr. Bernstein is professional and courteous, his staff is quite the opposite from the front office to the lab to the witch running the infusion room.
After being diagnosed I went to see Dr Bernstein He explained my whole situation and answered all my questionsThen explained what we could do about itHe gave me an overview of the process and how we would startEverybody is different and you have to navigate the cureAs We went through the process He was very clear about everything it made it easier that when I was at home alone and really sick I wasn’t surprised by what was going onIt made me worry less and when I was scared and didn’t know what to do I could speak to his office and get helpI Was Not Alone in ThisWhen it was time for surgery He sent me to a great surgeonAfter surgery I was not done there was more chemotherapy and radiationNow I am cured and it was because I have the Best DoctorNow we keep track and Hope it don’t come backHe Saved My LifeThere are a lot of Firemen in the world but you will always be grateful full to the one who rescued you
I am not one for writing reviews, however I do read them. The comment posted regarding Dr. Bernstein this past November has made me feel as though I need to respond in some way. I have known Dr Bernstein for many years. He has helped orchestrate my care for breast cancer for the last 4. He has shown me nothing but kindness and compassion and has given me all the encouragement and support I needed to get through the next steps toward recovery. His ability to explain my disease was delivered in a relatable way that made me feel confident in the plan that would beat it. He always took the time to answer any question(s) I had no matter how busy he was. I truly cannot say enough good things about him. So, when I read that comment about him being uncaring, not spending enough time, etc it just made me want to scratch my head..and I would hope the majority of patients, if not all, would not allow to be persuaded one way or the other by what snacks an office had to offer. I know everyone has their own experiences and opinions and they have a right to share them. I just had to put mine out there. Thanks for listening:) Stay well.
I was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer and as a result of researching first-rate oncologists, I selected Dr. Andrew Bernstein. Visiting Dr. Bernstein is like dealing with trusted family. He is caring, concerned, and friendly while maintaining professional and efficient standards of service. He relates well to his staff and patients. I am grateful to have such a high quality care provider. His office and staff consistently provide a warm, caring responsive atmosphere for patients. I am so very thankful for the excellent care I receive at RCCA of Pompton Plains and by Dr. Bernstein. He is top-notch.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
