Mark S Rosenthal's Online Review Report Card

I've been a patient of Dr. Rosenthal for over 25 yrs. and as a young physician just out of his residency, I found him to be fantastic at what he does. I also knew his father who was a doctor of mine some years before. Mark saved my life-literally and I am forever indebted to him. His staff was always terrific as well. However, I only see him once a year for a check up as long as all is well. Today, one of his offfice staff wanted to change my appointment for a month later and in another office. When I asked what was wrong with the original, I knew she lied to me and was rather abrupt and short of rude. I am stunned and will have to think about making another appointment from here on in. This is a sorry ending to an otherwise great relationship.

Dr. Rosenthal sent me for a calcium score test. Never heard from him regarding the results. Called his office twice and left detailed instructions with the receptionist. Expected a call but never received one. Ended up making an appt. with a new doctor for help. Very disappointing.

Extremely patient, kind and caring with elderly patients. Both parents ask same questions over and over and Dr Rosenthal treats them with respect and dignity. Highly recommend.

The doctors are all very good, knowledgeable, and caring. The office staff is fantastic. They listen to you and make sure you know what your condition is and how it is being treated

I’ve been here twice with my mother. The doctor we saw (Dr Tabaksblat) is very nice and made us feel comfortable. Today upon my second visit though we were told there was a new system and we needed to sign a form. We were then handed a completely blank tablet and pen to sign. I had to stop my mother from signing and explain that it is outrageous to be given a blank form like that. After asking two more times we were finally given a copy of the form to read. While it did turn out to be ok to sign, it was a very important financial form and we read it fully before signing. I expect a much higher level of professionalism from the medical field. ---------------------------------------------------------- Follow up: Every visit since this issue happened they have laminated versions of the form sitting on the desk for you to read. The doctors are good and polite here.

Office staff is pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Rosenthal guided both my wife and me through very difficult times with a positive attitude and the necessary expertise that yielded very positive results for both of us.

Customer service is very poor. Recently I had an echocardiogram scheduled. The tech ignored the RX and I was billed for service - $200 - I need to pay $110. Now I need same service again and no help from staff if 1st service will not be billed or if 2nd echocardiogram will be covered by BC BS. Multiple follow ups - very stressful.

Fantastic doctor with an excellent bedside manner. When I was originally diagnosed in 2003 with CHF and cardiomyopathy my original doctor completely ignored anything I told him so I went to Dr. Rosenthal who not only corrected measurements taken by my old cardiologist during my cardiac categorization but as a 24 year old athlete who thought I was going to die explained everything and put me on a treatment plan and eased my concern. 13 yrs later I'm out of CHF with a normal ejection fraction.
