Had a septoplasty through Dr. Acker, and he was fantastic throughout the entire process. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He isn’t the type of doctor to make small talk, but if you don’t mind that I would highly recommend him.

Absolutely horrified at my daughters experience with Dr. Aker today. 18 years ago, in this same practice, my daughter was diagnosed with sever hearing loss that thankfully was attributed to her body not expelling earwax and was remedied by every 3 month appts with doctors to clear a tremendous amount of wax from her ears. Today, unfortunately unable to schedule with our regular dr within ENT because of college and sports conflicts from another state, she ended up with Dr. Aker. He proceeded to shame her the entire appointment telling her this would not happen if she did not use Q tips - which we have not used in 18 years. She tried to explain to him the situation, confused that she has been to this same practice since the age of 3 with no avail. She left in tears from him and I am Furious. What dr does not realize their patients history within their own practice! Terrible. And he was the only dr available with no bookings in site which should have said it all!!

I have had a long history of larynx maladies, and have seen several ENTs over time and have had my throat scoped numerous times. His hand at scoping is quite deft and he lingered in the troubled area longer than any other physician. Contrary to some other reviews on this site, I found him to be warm, mature, knowledgeable and competent. I will continue to utilize his talents!
