Anita I. Miedziak's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Miedziak performed cataract and cornea replacement surgeries for my mom and regular cataract surgery for my dad. We found her very competent and an experienced physician. She is very detailed and thorough in her approach. Moreover, she was also caring and addressed my parents' concerns and questions very patiently. In particular, my mother had a complicated case as her prior cataract surgery did not go well but Dr. Miedziak was able to fix her vision. Thank you Dr Miedziak.

Dr. Miedziak has been my eye doctor for many years. She is incredibly thorough and, during the course of a routine eye exam, discovered a serious eye condition and immediately referred me to the appropriate specialist. While highly professional, she is also warm and caring. I recommend Dr. Miedziak to anyone looking for the best in routine eye care or cataract surgery.

Dr Miedziak is probably the kindest most knowledgeable doctor I have ever dealt with. I have multiple autoimmune -inflammatory diseases. Aside from the fact that I am terrified of eye doctors I am a complicated patient to deal with. Dr Miedziak immediately eased my fears. Her knowledge and amazing bed side manner made having cataract surgery , almost enjoyable. I would highly recommend this physician to anybody in need of an excellent ophthalmologist..

Did cataract surgery in both my eyes. She is an angel.

Been a patient of Dr. Miedziak for years. She performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. She has a nice manner and provides a lot of information. I would highly recommend her. The staff on the other hand are very busy and not very friendly. Hard to get an appointment. They made me, an existing patient, wait four months to see the doctor about a problem. This eye group has a high volume of patients and can not seem to keep up with the demand.

Dr. Miedziak performed cataract surgery on my mom’s eyes and put the incorrect lenses in my mom’s eyes and now, my mom’s vision is damaged and there is no way to redo the surgery and correct the problem that Dr. Miedziak created. I attended all my mom’s visits with Dr. Miedziak and managed the process for my mom, so know all the details. My mom has macular degeneration in both eyes. Dr. Miedziak knew this and informed of this fact. For patients with macular degeneration, monofocal lenses should be used during cataract surgery. (We have gotten 2 separate doctors telling us this fact.) However, Dr. Miedziak did not tell us this, and instead used multifocal lenses. Patients with macular degeneration cannot see well through multi-focus lenses. The cost of the multi-focus lenses was much higher than the single focus lenses and therefore the profitability was higher to Dr. Miedziak. Either she mislead us for profit, or mislead us because she is incompetent. In either case, my mom’s vision is damaged and she will have to live with this for the rest of her life. The surgery cannot be redone to put in the right lenses. While I cannot change what happened with my mother, but I would HIGHLY recommend to NOT go to Dr. Miedziak. She is untrustworthy. I can not put zero stars, so I had to put one.

I couldn’t be happier with my vision after lasik surgery with Dr. Anita Miedziak. I had no issues in the last 2 years. She is an excellent doctor and a wonderful person. She looks time to make sure I understood everything and answered all my questions and concerns. I will always highly recommend her!!! Than you Dr. Miedziak!
