I saw this doctor for several months. She is very unprofessional, has a bad temper and is condescending. She does not leave adequate time for questions and does not care if the patient understands their illness or treatment. If you must see Dr Kuchar, please get a second opinion before undergoing any treatment she recommends. Wait times can be very long- up to 3 hours. Avoid this physician.

Visits are very rushed. Sufficient time is not given for questions. Treatment goals are not discussed. Lack confidence in doctor. Doctor doesn’t seem to care if patient understands their eye problem. Staff is nice.

I have found Dr Kuchar to be inconsistent about the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of me eye condition, she doesn’t allow sufficient time for questions nor is she receptive to them . She is evasive. “ Bedside manner” is nonexistent . Office staff hard to work with. Cannot recommend.

I am in my 50’s so was nervous to find out I had a cataract which significantly impaired my vision. From the first appointment Dr. Kuchar put me at ease. She is bright, extremely competent and knowledgeable, and kind. I felt fully informed when I made the decision to have the cataract removed and replaced with a multi focal lens. The surgery was not uncomfortable and my vision was back to almost normal as they wheeled me out of the OR. It has been 4 weeks and I extremely pleased with my distance and reading vision. I am very grateful I landed in the office of Dr Kuchar. She is an excellent ophthalmologist and I highly recommend her.
