List of Stanley Hsu's Reviews
Staff needs to be educated on how to deal with insurance procedures. Does not read the documentation properly. what can be done in a week to prolong to 7 weeks. by that time a patient in need of medication has prolonged suffering without meds.
Dr Hsu is a fantastic gastroenterologist! He immediately identified my issue and now it is resolved. He has excellent communication skills and is devoted to his patients. He was wonderful to make special accommodations to treat my mother. He is an amazing physician and I am thrilled I found him because he impowered me as a patient and I am feeling much better ❤
Let me start by saying that I love Dr. Hsu. I've been a patient of his through this and his prior practice. But now-----I give up and must leave his care. You can't just call and make an appointment with Dr. Hsu. You have to call and they'll promise you a callback from someone assigned to him. Don't at all be shocked when that callback never comes. I recently had a death in my family and needed to cancel an appointment with the good doctor. Oh-----did I mention you can't do that with the person who answers the phone. Yup-----you guessed it. "You'll get a callback"----which of course never happens. (And how much do I want to answer a callback while mourning a death?) Did I mention that I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Hsu in June?? Well----the team at the office gave me a time for the procedure. The very day before the procedure----thankfully-----I received a call from the hospital reminding me of my appointment. Which-----you guessed it-----was an hour earlier than I'd been told. Were it not for that reminder-----I'd have been late for the procedure. He's a great guy-----and a very thorough physician. But my time and effort has value too and I won't be dealing with this kind of sloppiness and poor organization again.
There are two kinds of bad doctors: incompetent doctors and doctors who don't care about their patients. Dr. Hsu is the second. It's clear that he doesn't care about his patients. He didn't want to listen to me describe my symptoms, he didn't bother explaining anything to me, and he didn't tell me why he prescribed certain meds. He only cares about keeping the appointments as short as possible and booking the next appointment so that he gets paid. Find a different gastroenterologist.
See a different doctor. Dr. Hsu would rather order expensive tests than listen to patients talk about their symptoms. Clearly cares more about money than getting as much information as possible to make an accurate diagnosis.
he has no basic medical knowledge at all. he asked me to eat one kind of medicine for 2 years and I can eat whenever feel uncomfortable. I consulted several other doctors later and all of them strongly disagreed with what Hsu said. since I ate that medicine for years, now, side-effect is keeping coming and my health got worse. I should find an attorney to sue him if time can go back.
I recently saw Dr. Hsu and found him to be very informative, knowledgeable and patient. He had great bedside manners and really took the time to understand my situation and preferences. He was very open minded and spoke to me a lot about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. I learned a great deal from him!
This is the worst doctor ever!! I have been having countless communication difficulties with his office. He never returned patient call even though there is an "abnormal" on the test result. The worst thing is when you want switch to another doctor in the same group, they force you to see him. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
he is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He told me stomatch is on my right side of belly. he asked me continue eating some medicine that other senior docotor 100% disagree and denied. he spent only 3 minutes in one of my visits. I have to say he is one of the worst Doctors..
An EXCELLENT gastroenterologist. The most pleasant bedside manner. I'm so grateful to him!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
