T JOHN Mercuro's Online Review Report Card

Both my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Mercuro for at least 10 years as we both have heart conditions. He literally saved my husband’s life twice. We always receive utmost attention during our visits. The staff is also outstanding. Both receptionists and support staff during the stress tests, ultrasound, etc. They even had an amazing therapy dog during my last ECO test. Dr. Mercuro has been a pleasure to work with. I've been seeing him for the last 2 years and have not experienced any issues described by others.

I have been under Dr. Mercuro's capable care for several years and believe that I would not still be alive if I hadn't been. I find him extremely knowledgeable, genuinely concerned about his patients, and responsive to questions and concerns. Moreover, he listens to his patients and takes as much time as the patient feels is needed without making the patient feel rushed, rare qualities in today's medical practitioners.

I have been seeing Dr. Mercuro for twenty years. He guided me through a quadruple bypass nearly fifteen years ago. He is always professional, thorough and kind. I consider him to be the best physician I have seen in my seventy six years. I would recommend he and his practice to anyone seeking first rate cardiac care.

Doctor Mercuro has a terrible bedside manner. He is cold, not comforting in his words and self centered. I want to say he is just short of being smug. I’m not happy with his current attitude. I’m writing this because I just wasn’t happy with his presentation to me and my wife recently.. He’s probably a good cardiologist but Not my kind of person... something was off on this day ..

Dr. Mercuro not only saved my fathers life years ago, he helped to extend it for several years. My family and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Mercuro for the care of my fathers health & for showing such kindness & respect to him for many years.

Have been going to him for almost 3 years now. Very nice but keeps his appointments very short and basic. The worst part is his wait time; he's always running behind and I have to wait over an hour every time to see him. Otherwise an effective cardiologist.

HORRIBLE..... RUDE, IMPATIENT.... STAY AWAY.... so many other cardiologists in area who are kinder and more compassionate... This man is not. I will never go back to him.

The service and diagnostics they did to me were driven by simple greed and incompetence. The diagnoses turned out to be wrong, unfortunately the damages were done. After I told them they were wrong instead of helping to correct their mistakes they insisted on trying to prevent me from getting the care I needed and the tests to conclusively prove that they were flat out wrong, but they knowingly did it, they know they are protected class. Please go to another qualified doctor.

I have been with Dr. Mercuro from the last 13 years for my heart problem, got catheterization done 5 times with virtually same results, that no stunts required, but I still have the same Stable Angina problem and it is getting worse every day, so thinking of getting a second opinion from a different cardiologist.
