Do not bring your loved one here.They lack compassion, empathy, don't communicate with the family. Do not treat life threatening situations seriously. Don't read or ask questions about records that come from other hospitals. Nor show remorse when they ef things up. Make patients wait 60 to 90 minutes or don't come at all if they can actually reach their buzzer. If a frequent pee er. Forgetaboutit.If you want your loved one to come home, you must move in. Or they may not come home at all. Staff is phony, and doesnt care about you or your loved one. Its basically ...NEXT..Victim...And will always cover their A$$.

Please be very careful in choosing Care Connection at Rahway Hospital.  I had my Dad there and we removed him in 3 days and brought him home.   They were terrible.  Left my Dad's meals outside in hall, which meant he didn't eat.  He could not get out of bed and was left in soiled diapers during the night.  When I complained to Head person she told me that they would wake him every half hour during the night to make sure he didn't have to go.  I asked her if she was punishing him because I complained.  In talking to other people, they all had the same complaints. Just glad I got him out of there before any other problems.  Would NEVER recommend or go back there.

It was suggested that my Dad go to the Care Connection Subacute at Rahway Hospital for further treatment.  It was during Covid so he was not allowed any visitors.  We had to communicate via Zoom to see him.  It just wasn't the same.  I think because we weren't around, the treatment and care he received was not up to par.  He couldn't get out of bed and was left ALL NIGHT in a soiled diaper.  He rang the bell several times and the night aide would not answer or come to see what was wrong.  When I complained, I was told that now they would wake him up every half hour and ask him if he was OK.  I thought that was ridiculous and kind of a punishment by the Supervisor.  To make a long story short I WOULD NEVER, EVER use this Care Connection at the Hospital.  They should be evaluated, since I heard this horror story from many people I spoke to about them.  Their idea of physical therapy is if they come in and can't get you out of bed without you feeling like you were going to fall, then they call it a day.  There is no further action given.

The nurses were kind. The cleaners never spoke. When we arrived to visit my Uncle, he was sitting comfortably watching the impeachment trial. His bed was nicely made ready for him to return. Other than being a little chilly, he didn't complain about the services that he was receiving from the staff.

Please with this place!!! A sad thing. I am still mentally upset about the care that was given to my loved one. Take my advice do not send a loved one here! They lack supplies and staff. They are good to give you a wonderful advice about the place, then they say they are not equipped for your loved one!

i have to report back to everyone my total care and welfare while staying with Care Comfort i must say that the last review was from an upset sibling but all and all i was content with their ability to help me get back on my feet quicker Cathleen the manager was constantly involveď and the assistant manager worked well behind the scenes. Thank you Care Comfort team especially Felicia, Ellen, Jasmin, anď Nancy who went well beyond thier jobs.

During my mother's stay at Care Connection I feel that the staff went above and beyond in providing care for her. Everyone was good to her. Thank you all for your patience and compassion.
