I've been a patient of Dr. Tasharofi when he was a sole practitioner, well over 20 years, and before he formed UCCH. He is an excellent diagnostician and has seen me through several severe medical issues. His Nurse Practitioners, who I sometimes see for a routine visit and prescription refills are also excellent at their medical skills. He is quick to refer to specialists when needed and always gives me the time to discuss medical issues. Highly recommended.

While he is a nice man and doctor, the staff is horrible. When you go you don’t see him but always a PA. If you call with an issue you are lucky to get a call back in 5 days. They promise if a prescription doesn’t work they will give another, yet when you call they tell you to go to urgent care so you can pay another office visit. You do not get results of tests unless you call 10 times first.

Dr. Tasharofi by far has been one the best physicians, my dad has ever been to. He has brought down his A1C significantly. Dr. Tasharofi took his time to learn about what was really going on with his diabetes, run tests, and then thoroughly explain the new medication. He is always willing to listen to your concerns as well.

Dr. Tasharofi is now accepting new patients for the NJ Medical Marijuana Program at his Rahway office. His Cannabis Patient Consultant, Christine, is very knowledgeable about cannabis as medicine and sits with you to explain everything including different ways to use it properly. She will also do a complete registration which most other doctor's offices aren't doing. It was very comprehensive visit.

Worst doctor I ever saw. Waited an hour to see him and then was made to feel all my medical problems were my fault. He asked questions regarding a blood test I had in November. If it was that important perhaps he should have been in touch in November He seemed all too happy to prescribe a prescription I did not want and don’t think I need No bedside manor I would rather be sick than see him again I have nothing positive to say about my experience with him

CALL THEM ABOUT 15X TO SCHEDULE AN APPT AND NO ONE ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ANSWERS!!!! THEY TRANSFER YOU TO THE EMERGENCY LINE. THEN THE WAIT IN THERE TO SEE HIM IS HORRIFIC EVEN WITH AN APPT. THIS IS JUST HORRIBLE. THE DR. IS VERY NICE BUT WHO EVER IS RUNNING HIS PRACTICE NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!!
