Dr. Hosler left me in the care of his assistant with a clearly disinterested attitude. His assistant kept changing the lenses to different magnifications- and while pushing them down into place, she shoved them into my face. I kept flinching in pain after each lens change. Dr. Hosler walked by but didn't intervene. Finally, after explaining how bruised my eye area was, and an arrogant retort from the assistant, I walked out. Fortunately there is a great eye doctor & assistants in Westfield.

Dr. Hosler has a great personality and bedside manner. He spends time with his patients going over his finding and recommendations and he explain everything in detail. I would definitely recommend him for all your eyecare needs!

Dr Hosler was great - I normally see him in Belleville but had an emergency and saw him in Rahway. Front desk staff was pleasant - even with a little confusion over the appointment - and got me in right away. Dr. Hosler listens carefully and is fully engaged. He share information freely and explains what he is doing, why he is doing it, what it means to me and clearly discusses the situation and next steps. His calming demeanor kept me calm and reassured me. Highly recommended.
