Taj G. Khan's Online Review Report Card

Have been a patient of Dr. Khan for a number of years now. He removed cataracts from both eyes earlier this year and did a great job of explaining the procedure and my lens options. The only reason I didn’t give him five stars is that he always seems to run late.

Terrible doctor only out for it for money Long weights disappointing results would not recommend to anybody

Did my Left eye cataract surgery very recently. Still going through recovery and everything seems to be very good so far. I would definitely recommend Dr. Khan.

Received a bill by mail and was charged twice for a "one time co-pay. I went personally to the Rahway office to resolve the billing error, but was met with unclarity and unprofessionalism. I was scheduled for a follow up visit but walked away when I was not helped. BEWARE & review your invoices from this office and Doctor closely.

I went to doctor Khan to have a medium sized birthmark removed and initially requested it be done via Laser. Dr Khan pushed me into having it surgically removed and I agreed mentioning it would take two sessions to complete. After the second surgery I was happy with the results and there was minimal scarring. Dr Khan then pushed me to do a third surgery *probably to benefit his pockest* and since the results were great up to this point I did not decline. This is where things went bad. Dr Khan was unable to stitch the wound back together, and the stitches came out only ~1 hour after the surgery. When I came back for my checkup Khan insisted it was because "I was lifting weights" which I was not, and even went on to say things like "you dont have to lie to me I know your working out". He then charged me another 300$ to put stitches back in even though he couldnt stitch it back together the first time and he states "check ups are free". Then, behold the same thing happened and the stitches popped out again within a day. At this point I stopped going to Dr Khan because I had already spent so much money and couldnt afford to spend 600$ every 2 weeks as an 18 year old making 8.50$/hr I eventually went back to Dr Khan in 2020 with the wound still open since it had not healed in this time, and he insisted we cauterize the wound. Every time I went to him he had a different plan in mind, and would say hes only going to cauterize the open wound area, but then he would just cauterize anything and everything around it. I went to him for about ~10 sessions of this with pretty much 0 results besides begin ~5k in debt and then he tells me hes going to lower the price and acts like hes doing me a big favor. ***Yes lower the price after you have already taken 5 thousand dollars from me, caused a wound that is larger than what I originally came in to have removed, and consistently leaks blood.*** This guy then proceeds to tell me I need to do a skin graft to get it healed. ***Probably the most expensive surgery there is.... why? Well read the other reviews on his yelp where reviews are not removed by Google and you cant pay to have these removed. Theres a reason he has 3.5 stars on yelp which doesnt even include the many "unconfirmed" 1 star reviews which do not factor into you rating*** End result: -5000$, Look like I survived a motorcycle accident, thanks Dr Khan

Dr. Khan performed upper eyelid surgery(blepharoplasty)for me. I have nothing but great things to say. He did a wonderful job. The openness of my eyes are wonderful. I can see better! My eyes feel lighter. Definitely recommend having it done with Dr. Khan.

Top flight surgeon - very professional- organized - knows his craft

He is always running late and adds on as many procedures as he can to charge insurance more money. Make sure u are willing to wait at least 90 mins in the waiting room!

Dr Khan is an excellent eye surgeon. He performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I am very pleased with the results. His care is compassionate and thorough. The only issue I have ( as I see has been stated, needs to be reiterated) is that I ALWAYS wait at least an hour to see the doctor. He is always late and I think spread too thin in his several office locations. In his defense it must be difficult to run between several office daily and keep up with appointments given the traffic here....I will continue to see this eye doctor because he is very good. I can wait a little for excellence. Thank You

I was more than pleased with the services and care provided by Dr. Khan. I found him to be extremely professional while at the same time kind, courteous and reassuring. I would definitely recommend him.
