Andrei Buna Md's Online Review Report Card

While I had read all of the amazing reviews on Google prior to meeting Dr. Buna, I was still skeptical. It had been a long time since I left any practitioners' office feeling heard, cared for and validated, but that is exactly how I felt leaving Dr. Buna's office. He spent nearly an hour and a half combing through my family's extensive medical history. He actively listened to and addressed each and everyone of my concerns. He had a wonderful sense of humor, which put me at ease; and he went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable throughout the entire examination. Every medical practitioner should take a page out of Dr. Buna's book because the industry needs more medical professionals like him. Additionally, his office staff and nurses were friendly, caring and attentive. It was evident to me that Dr. Buna carefully selects individuals who embody the tenents of top tier customer service.

I’m currently pregnant with my second child and Dr. Buna and the office have been very helpful and kind throughout the pregnancy. Every time I’ve called to ask a question Dr. Buna calls me back before the end of the day. The office staff and nurse Arlene are down to Earth and helpful. I never feel awkward or uncomfortable in the office. Everyone is very easy going and laid back. I’m so glad I switched to this office. I had a very difficult first pregnancy and delivery and so far this experience with the 2nd has been the complete opposite. Thank you!

I had to have a procedure done and was a bit apprehensive about it. Dr. Buna was so kind and gentle. He explained everything to me and made sure I was ok. Great bedside manner!!

Dr. Buna went above and beyond during my experience with bad menopause symptoms. He suggested different ways to control moodiness and lack of sleep and suggested both medication as well as homeopathic remedies. He took his time and I appreciate that in a doctor.

I had a very good experience with dr. Buna and his staff, wonderful people, caring, attentive and professional in every way. He took his time with me during a tough time in my life.

I was in n and d of a gyn doctor as soon as I moved to NJ. I got his name off the web looking at a few review sites and I am very happy I did. Dr. Buna spent 45 min with me on the first visit. He was courteous and attentive. Nice office and staff too.

I’m not quite sure why my visit differed so greatly from previous reviews, but it was awful. Maybe it’s because I’m so quiet? The ladies in the office went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. When it came to Dr. Buna, I received nothing but negative comments about my choices, from choosing to not be on birth control, all the way to emphasis on the words “family planning” to express to me that a family should be planned and to loose the mentality of if it happens it happens. He even commented on the fact that I should be more careful with my husband considering the fact that we have an autistic child and we wouldn’t want to take the attention away from him with an accidental pregnancy. Granted I am young but I do OWN my own house, 2 cars and have a career. I could afford another child and certainly have enough space in my heart but that’s no one else’s business what I choose to do. All in all I felt horrible when I left. I feel so mad at myself that I didn’t speak up about his comments at the time of the visit and I will most likely beat myself up about that for a few more days, but in the meantime I thought there should be an honest review in what seems to be all positive reviews.

I’ve been with Doctor Buna since mid June after I found out I was pregnant (I also moved so needed a new OBGYN). I called my insurance found out what hospital was in my network and asked for their top doctor. They recommended Doctor Buna. I can’t tell you just how right they were. I’ve never in my life had a doctor care as much as he does. Not only does he take the time to get to know you, he gives you a sense of security every time you are in the office. Everyone in the practice treats you with the same care and importance as Doctor Buna. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I was in the hospital with contractions, There was a complication with my baby, he rushed me in for an emergency C section. I was scared to death with all the possibilities going through my head praying my baby would be ok. Doctor Buna was with me every step of the way and it went perfect. while in the hospital recovering he checked on me and my son every day. Even on his days off! That’s someone who cares so much!

I have been going to Dr.Buna for some time now. I will say 5-6 years. In the beginning Dr.Buna was great until I kept getting BV. It was on and off. Each time I would get it he would prescribe me antibiotics that would take care of the issue for a week or maybe a few months and it would always come back. Just recently I went to see him and talk to him about it and his only response is there's nothing else he can do for me and continued to talk to me about preventing pregnancy's ! I'm so not kidding!!! his response was almost as if he didn't care and he was tired of my issue!!! My cousin stopped going to him because he pushed Birth Control to her which resulted in her having surgeries. The minute she got off the BC she was fine . All he ever wants to push is BC!! He was amazing in the beginning but, his attitude started to suck towards the end. Do yourself a favor and never go to him. A doctor that shows you their A to kiss in your time of need is not the doctor for you.
