List of Edward J. Mcmanus's Reviews
I have been struggling with an infection for 2 months, and they never called me back when they said they would to make an appointment. I went to the office and they refused to help me make an appointment. I will be seeing a different specialist.
He’s the best
Great Doctor very nice person makes you feel comfortable like family. He has awsome bedside manners. I wish he was a primary care physician I would love for him to be my primary doctor.
Dr McManus is a wonderful caring and compassionate doctor. The nurses and office staff are great , always very helpful.
If I could give a "ZERO" I would. For a doctor who deals with Lyme patients he should know symptoms... anxiety, depression and neurological- he yelled at my son to " pick up his head and look him in the eye " when my son was so sick he could not pick up his head. Dr turned to my husband and myself and said my son was probably on drugs! A very poor excuse for an infectious disease doctor.
Dr. McManus is a fantastic doctor. Would highly recommend.
Excellent doctor!
After trying to treat my 21 year old daughter with one trial on antibiotics which failed, this doctor dumped her back to her primary care physician rather than trying a next step or making an appropriate referral. She has a chronic condition that can cause cancer. When we were there he would not listen to her and when she called after her condition came back, she was told to go back to her primary doctor. I call that cowardly and irresponsible. Beware!
My Mom had a severe rash on her foot and leg the pain was excruciating. Her infectious disease doctor would not take in her the office without a scheduled appointment. They told her to go to the hospital. My Dad was desperate to get a doctor to see her,so he went into Dr. Mcmanus office not being g a patient and they gladly took her in. The office was so friendly and Dr McManus was wonderful. My mom is leaving practice and is becoming a permanent patient of Dr. Edward McManus, Infectious Disease Care. So if you are a patient of Dr. Max Deshaw or not happy with your Infectious Disease Care please give Dr. Edward McMance's office a call. They are wonderful.
My son in law went to this doctor for treatiment with blood work proving he has a tickborne disease which requires treatment. He is in pain and has symptoms which are entirely consistent with his disease- yet this “doctor” basically accused him of over reacting. Instead of treating the problem for which he was referred for treatment, this clown wanted to hook him into a long drawn out treatment for arthritis (which he does not have). He does not listen, does not respect and listen to the patient, and certainly does not actually read certified lab work. BEWARE.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
