I love that this is privately owned by Dr Pakonis she is absolutely amazing she takes her time with my children and listens to my concerns and she's always reassuring , kind, and trustworthy!

My family and I had just had our second baby and had a horrible experience at Lake View Medical during a time of hardship. We had to last minute switch care for our family and get our newborn in somewhere as soon as possible. Koala Pediatrics took us in with no problem in the same week. I was nervous to have to switch Doctors, but the appointment could not have gone any better! Our oldest is super shy with strangers (especially with our prior drs) but with Dr.Pakonis he immediately lit up and was sharing toys with her and playing freely. She really takes her time with you and seems so genuine and kind. Happy we switched! :)

Dr. Pakonis is wonderful. We switched Drs. and I absolutely loved our first visit. She has toys in the rooms and what I love about her is that she treats her patients as what they are, children. Such a lovely and kind lady. We’re so happy we switched to koala pediatrics. We felt so welcomed and we were treated with so much kindness and respect ❤️

As a new mother , picking a pediatrician was difficult but I choose koala pediatrics on a whim and wow I am so happy I did. Dr Pakonis is such a kind , intelligent , and fun doctor ! She has wonderful advice and is great with kids of all ages ! The office is kid friendly and exceptionally clean ! I’ll never forget seeing her disinfecting every surface possible during the pandemic and even to this day ! 10/10 recommend ! I’m sad that my insurance is no longer in network with koala pediatrics but hopefully one day we will be back !
