I have been a patient since 9/20. Since then I have have lost 43 pounds. Everyone at Medi is polite, patient and really knows their stuff. Give it a try! All you got to lose is the weight!

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE. THE SECOND YOU WALK INTO THE DOOR THEY WILL ASK FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD AT FRONT BEFORE THEY EVEN ASK FOR YOUR NAME. FIRST OF ALL, BEFORE ANYBODY REQUESTS PAYMENT FROM A PATIENT, THE PROVIDER NEEDS TO SUBMIT THE CLAIM TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY FIRST!!! THE INSURACE WILL THEN PROCESS THE CLAIM AND ISSUE AN EOB (EXPLANATION OF BENEFITS) REFLECTING THE PATIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY. IT IS INAPPROPRIATE TO ASK A PATIENT FOR THE DEDUCTIBLE AND CO-INSURANCE AT FRONT BEFORE THE INSURANCE PROCESSES THE CLAIM. HOW WOULD THESE PEOPLE KNOW THE PATIENT'S DEDUCTIBLE/ CO-INSURANCE HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN MET???! PAULA THE OPERATIONS MANAGER IS VERY RUDE. SHE SHOULD KNOW THAT BEFORE SEEKING PAYMENT FROM A PATIENT, THE INSURANCE NEEDS TO PROCESS THE CLAIM FIRST!!!! ANY PROFESSIONAL WORKING IN THE FIELD WOULD KNOW THIS. OBVIOUSLY, THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE TO MAKE A FORMAL C0MPLAINT. ALSO, THE WAIT TIMES ARE VERY LONG. EXPECT TO BE THERE BETWEEN 2 TO 2 1/2 HOURS WAITING. THEN WHEN YOU GET TO SEE THE PROVIDER SHE RUSHES YOU. I WOULD RECOMMEND BETTER OFFICE MANAGEMENT, BETTER OFFICE WORKFLOW TO REDUCE WAIT TIMES (MAYBE DON'T BOOK 10 PATIENTS FOR EVERY HALF HOUR WINDOW!!), AND BETTER QUALITY OF CARE WHILE DISCUSSING TREATMENT GOALS WITH THE PATIENT. I'M NEVER GOING BACK. I WILL TRY THE LIVINGSTON LOCATION INSTEAD. THE RANDOLPH OFFICE HAS NO CLUE ON HOW TO DELIVER QUALITY OF CARE. SHAME ON THEM.

please be aware of this place. the second you walk into the door they will ask for your credit card at front before they even ask for your name. first of all, before anybody requests payment from a patient, the provider needs to submit the claim to the insurance company first!!! the insurace will then process the claim and issue an eob (explanation of benefits) reflecting the patient's responsibility. it is inappropriate to ask a patient for the deductible and co-insurance at front before the insurance processes the claim. how would these people know the patient's deductible/ co-insurance has not already been met???! paula the operations manager is very rude. she should know that before seeking payment from a patient, the insurance needs to process the claim first!!!! any professional working in the field would know this. obviously, they are not professional. i will be contacting the corporate office to make a formal c0mplaint. also, the wait times are very long. expect to be there between 2 to 2 1/2 hours waiting. then when you get to see the provider she rushes you. i would recommend better office management, better office workflow to reduce wait times (maybe don't book 10 patients for every half hour window!!), and better quality of care while discussing treatment goals with the patient. i'm never going back. i will try the livingston location instead. the randolph office has no clue on how to deliver quality of care. shame on them.

Medi in Randolph is wonderful, it has new stuff running it, I believe it has recently changed. I have been doing Medi at few different locations and this one in Randolph has very friendly and extremely helpful stuff. They truly care about you and your goals. They call mid week to see how process is going they suggest new ways to help me fight cravings. They send email reminder before my appointment in case I need to change it. Every time I go for my appointment they are ready to take me. Medi program itself is truly wonderful designed to help those with busy lives achieve their goals. It's easy simple design with B vitamin shots, medications n weekly check in. They offer snacks n protein bars and shakes so u are never hungry. I highly recommend Medi and if you live in a area try Randolph location. I would recommend Medi to anyone that has been struggling with weight and tried almost everything to lose it, you will get results and will feel healthier and better about yourself. Few years ago I lost 25ibs and I just came back again to try to lose few more. Love the program the meds and of course the people :)

Note: This review relates to the Randolph location, not the Medi-Weightloss program itself. Let me start by saying that I think this program is great. It gives you a jump start on your weight loss and helps you be accountable with weekly weigh ins. During the initial consultation, you get a full work up done, including blood work, measurements, urine test, and EKG (to determine if you are eligible for a prescription appetite suppressant). During follow up appointments you get weighed, take a urine test to check if you're in ketosis, get nutritional support, and retrieve your appetite suppressant medication/prescription. I love that you are prescribed a food plan, and you simply follow it. You receive a customized meal schedule and grocery lists to make everything super easy. My cravings disappeared almost immediately! I started the program in Texas, where my parents live. I lost 7.5 pounds my first week, which has motivated me to continue! I then had to transfer to this location and got a sour taste in my mouth after my first appointment. The Randolph clinic is extremely unorganized. I think there has been a switch in management, which explains a lot. It seemed like no one had any idea what was going on. The entire clinic was in mass chaos/confusion the day I went. I understand that I was a "transfer," but the process should have been more seamless. I filled out a history questionnaire probably 3 times, a transfer form 3 times, and was asked if I required B12 shots by 5 different people. No one was on the same page. My EKG had to be redone, because apparently the Texas location did not transfer my results. My first EKG in Texas was good, but the one I took here showed that I had an abnormal heart rhythm. I am unsure of the tests' accuracy, because both technicians from TX and NJ did the tests in completely different ways. I would have appreciated it if they called before my appointment to say that my results were not transferred over from Texas. Instead, I wasted an hour and a half explaining to everyone that I was a transfer. It was a complete waste of money, especially because I wasn't able to get my appetite suppressant with an "abnormal" EKG. Another thing to note is that I have no idea how they do their pricing. I am a non-insurance patient since I have a pretty high deductible at the moment and was quoted around 65 bucks for follow up appointments. To my shock, I was asked to cough up $120 for this appointment. Once I showed the lady paperwork with the quotes I was given, it was lowered to $78. If I hadn't said anything, I would have paid a lot more!! I still love this program, and I think it's the answer to my weight loss difficulties. However, I can't continue to give my money to this location. I didn't have an overall good experience and was unhappy with the disorganization of the staff. On to another Medi-Weightloss location!Update: Someone called from the office to apologize for the chaos, which was nice to hear. :)
