I became a patient of Dr. Strutin at St. Clare's Hospital where I had emergency ventral hernia surgical repair. He performed two other surgeries because of serious complications (including infections). He is an excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner. He even went out of his way to visit me in the rehab. facility twice! Thank you for saving my life!

Dr. Strutin was professional, friendly, caring. Every nurse I asked raved about how great a doctor he is both with surgical skills and as a human being. Surgery went smoothly, home later that day, and starting to heal.

Dr Strutin was great to my husband. His surgery went well with no issues. Our insurance company tried to screw around with us concerning payment to the MD and Dr Strutin and his office advocated for us with the insurance company to get the bill lowered. BA Rogers

Performed emergency surgery on me after a bowel perforation. He was supposed to leave for vacation immediately after he left the hospital that day, but he postponed leaving for a few hours to make sure I was alright after surgery. Excellent surgeon and human being.

He focused on 2 other health issues (non related) which is a Primary Care Physican's responbility. Although, Ultra-Sound Report (I got a copy from hospital) and another Physican, who had requested it, Clearly indicated that Surgery was needed ASAP. As I was leaving, the 2 questions he asked Me, made it clear that he was Not convinced; it upset Me Very Much. He also came across to Me, as arrogant. I'm definitely seeing another General Surgeon next week.
