I had a 5-star experience when visiting Oak Hill Orthopedics. Dr Van Gelderen listened to my issues, and did everything to make me more comfortable. He is compassionate and caring, I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with an orthopedic problem.

We have been seeing Dr Van Gelderen since my daughter was five. He has seen her through a broken hand, foot and various other injuries including right now an MCL injury. She is 15 and plays a lot of sports. He has been spectacular with her through it all. I would recommend him to any one dealing with any kind of sports injury

All top shelf 2 observations : I could barely walk/move on my initial visit, I never thought about till I arrived. Wished there was a buzzer outside before going up steps to ask for assistance (came by myself from work) to get a wheelchair. Once the office staff saw me come into the office, immediately got me a chair. Looking back, I should have just made a call from the car instead of being stubborn trying to do all myself. Dr. V.G. - Clearly a pro and he set me on the course to tentative paint relief (cane and brace) within short and started the next step towards remedy with excellent speed and clarity. I just thought it different (but no big deal) he had difficulty looking me the patient in the eye when he talked (almost like he didn't have 100% confidence in what he was saying)...but i wasn't worried at all I could tell he assessed my issue properly Most doctors uber confident (maybe too much) and make strong eye contact and speak authoritively . Dr. V.G. very calm and confidence building. If looking away at times is his speaking style No Problem here...I am 100% returning and referencing.

My problem of a cyst on my right thumb and forefinger was not resolved since Dr. Van Gelderen does not address these issues .However, he kindly referred me to Dr. Lisser.
