List of Citak Ken's Reviews
Ive been a patient of Dr. Citaks for over 20 years he is awesome! The original reason I saw him was for treatment of severe migraines and he has been consistently helpful in treating them, making my life more manageable. He has suggested different approaches (Rx and alternative treatment) and has always been proactive in proposing new, potential solutions as they become available (even going to bat w the insurance company for approval!). Very compassionate and accessible doc. When Ive had to reach out offhours in severe pain he has been quick to respond. When I ruptured a disk in my cervical spine (while on a business trip in San Francisco!) and was in extreme pain he was incredibly helpful. Eventually I had to have a disk replacement (w. titanium plate in my neck!) but Dr Citak tried to relieve the pain & swelling (trigger point injections, fluoroscopy, etc) to help avoid surgery. Great, caring, smart doctor. They dont come better!
I am only giving 1 star for the office staff being amazing and kind! Dr. Citak has disgusting bedside manners. I was crushed in the head with a sheet of ice. After 2 weeks this "doctor" informed me that he wasn't sure why I wasn't feeling better. All of his patients with a concussion feel better after a week. When I complained about tv, computer and phone making me feel worse he said: "There is no correlation between having a concussion and watching tv or being on your phone." I BEGGED AND CRIED to not go to work and he said I had to bc there was no reason to stay home. Needless to say 3 months later I went to a REAL neuro who told me I still had a severe concussion, could not be on my feet more than 30 min a day and not to go to work. He said I absolutely could not watch tv, be on the comp or phone. He said go to a dark cave and stay there for a month. I started to cry. Dr. Citak prolonged my concussion and made me worse. He is the worst neuro out there. I am writing this to help save you from the mistake I made.
Went there for 2nd opinion regarding lyme disease symptoms. The office confirmed he treated lyme disease patients, but he denied that during the visit. Weird as that was the reason I went there in the first place. He became incredibly rude and acted like he had psyche issues for rest of visit. Sorry I had to pay for that at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
