… and prevented any negative impact on the quality of my life. I had a blood clot in my brain - I was having a stroke! In less than 2 hours after arriving at Valley ER , Dr. Altschul & her team had me in surgery. I am so grateful Dr Altschul was at Valley that day. A week later I was in her office where she explained in detail (with images) the procedure and reiterated procedures & tests I need to find the cause of the massive incident. Thanks to Dr Altschul I have quality time with my family. My life, so far, isn’t too short.

Had a cerebral arteriography done without adequate information provided by doctor and staff. During this procedure I had excruciating pain down my arm and in my brain. Could not move or talk because I was paralyzed. No one on doctor's staff could explain rash on arm after procedure and why it took more than three weeks to recover from both the procedure and the anesthesia. (The uncaring answer was you "received the standard (care) for the procedure" with no concern for the patient, just the procedure.) If you want to feel pain, every cut and incision, then this is the office and hospital to visit If not, avoid. Otherwise, you will have nightmares forever.
