I have never met a doctor like Dr Licitra. He never answered calls. He was incredibly defensive. He was my husband’s doctor and I can tell you it was the worst experience in my life or my husbands.

Horrible experience ever. Dr. Lictitra advised me that he would send prescription and he never did. I was waiting for my important procedure. On the first day, I left a message. Nobody called back. On the next day, my call kept being transferring 5 or 6 times I had to repeat the same thing over and over. At the end, he nurse hang up on me. Their attitude was very dark and cold and hostile to my frustration not helpful at all. HUGE regret choosing this doctor.

Dr.Licitra took the time to explain treatment that he recommended for my father. Followed my dad carefully throughout chemo.and made dosage adjustments when needed. Extremely knowledgeable, great bedside manner.

It’s been almost 10 years since my mother lost her war with cancer. She fought for almost 8 years, beyond expectations for the type of cancer she had, in large part due to Dr. Licitra. He treated her with respect and hope, willing to try methods not typical for the cancer she had. I will always be grateful for him because I and my family spent many great years with my mother despite this despicable disease and it’s ultimate destruction of life.

My dad stage 4 and I'm still waiting for this Doctor to call me. Had to find another doctor. Very sad!

i have been going to Dr Licitra since January 2017 and my experiences have been very positive with him and all the staff supporting him. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease and make the best of your situation.

Just plain NO! Arrogant and uncaring.

I know some doctors can appear to be arrogant. That seems to go with the territory. But Dr. Licitra gives new meaning to the word. Endless non answered phone calls. Endless questions gone unanswered. That was Dr Licitra throughout my husband's treatment. I'm sorry I ever used him. He would do his rounds at 5:30 in the morning to avoid the family. In order to catch him I had to get up at 4 AM to run to the hospital to squeeze in 30 seconds of dialogue with the doctor. He made my husband's last days so difficult for me that I still cry over it! Please don't use this doctor or this practice. Find a responsive caring doctor by asking friends and neighbors. Don't go to his doctor and, in fact, all the other doctors in Dr Nussbaum's offices. Please believe me you will thank me. Oh wait, one more thing. They sent me a bill one week after my husband died. I was grief ridden and I paid it. I later found out that the services they billed me for were already paid through his insurance company. I never even got a condolence call from the doctor. In fact, since he wasn't there at my husband's time of death I never saw or heard from Dr Licitra again

Unfortunately I would not recommend Dr. Licitra. At first I was optimistic because he took time to explain everything and seemed to have genuine concern for my loved one's health. As time elapsed he because increasingly unresponsive and failed to order tests which would have shown much sooner that the treatment plan was not working. I regret selecting Dr. Licitra, as I trusted him with my loved one's life (very slow-growing cancer, few metastatic sites), and he deteriorated quite quickly under his care (or lack thereof).
