I called ahead today to find a doctor who is confident with having patients take videos of their eye exam. This is a courtesy as patients don't need a doctor's consent to record. A man, could be Bruce, answering the phone said no. When I said the medical profession benefits as a whole when people record, he tried to interrupt me and hung up as I was talking--and not for a long time. Hanging up on me is rude and furthermore if he doesn't care what is in the medical profession's interest as a whole, he is not working in its interest and others should be informed about this. Additionally, a doctor that turns away patients who would like to record is giving up money and will likely do a worse job. Taking videos is a good thing overall and helps with retaining information and sharing it with others. It's more productive to allow recordings, or at least be courteous with turning away patients and revenue, than to have a negative review and deal with it then. I welcome a response from Reena A. Patel here as well as the person I talked to over the phone.

I recently went to see Dr Patel to get a routine eye exam. I can't say enough good things about her. She is friendly, knowledgable, and spent the right amount of time with me. She explained what she was doing and why and thoroughly answered all my questions. I will definitely be going back!

she examined my 5 year old son and she wasn't happy about having to do it. she seemed agitated that my son who really was well behaved didn't move fast enough for her and she didn't take into account it was his first visit to the eye dr. She was not kid friendly nor patient. She actually frightened him with her attitude and demeanor. I was not happy with her at all.

Dr. Patel is extremely courteous and professional. I asked for my pupillary distance which basically lets them know I won't be purchasing my glasses at that location, yet she still remained very kind and I was very pleased with my experience at the office. Highly recommended.
