I think sometimes professionals forget that clients do not speak their language and sometimes they should consider explaining a diagnosis to patients in a more simple and slower manner than with really big dermatologist words and a super fast speed. I couldn’t really understand what she was saying because she spoke so fast and used a lot of dermatologist terms that I didn’t know.

Grace and her team are simply fabulous. Down to earth. Kind. Caring. Don’t mind looking at people’s funky belly buttons. Awesome bunch and Grace should get a raise. She cleared my 80%+ coverage psoriasis. She’s a pro.

Doctor attentive and thorough. Office staff friendly. Waiting and exam rooms were very clean.

Be prepared to wait atleast 30 minutes. The call center is the worst I've experienced. It's so conveniently located however the customer service is so bad that it makes me wonder if it's even worth it. Good luck if you need to make an emergency visit. It's beyond terrible the loop holes and wait time.

I would not recommend this place at all, which is a shame since the NYC office was stellar, and the reason I picked Schweiger once I moved to Jersey. There's a huge turnover of staff here, since I've been here I think I've seen three different providers for at most 6 visits. This is an issue for continuity of care if no one is reading your chart. The PA seemed rushed every time I have been in and there was no M.A. to update history, my blood pressure medications, etc., which would help cut down on the time spent with the provider. The office was not busy, so I was confused at the overall attitude that I needed to hurry up. My visit was about ten minues and the overall impression I got was that I was somehow imposing on the doctor by coming in (on time for a scheduled appointment) and being difficult for having a question. Maybe my insurance reimbursement is the problem here, who knows. So at the visit, I was prescribed a topical medication and given no instructions on how to use it. I was given a scrip for a compounded form of spironolactone, high dose minoxidil, and tretinoin. The liquid arrived with a dropper marked with mL, but no dosage on the label. For an actual written prescription by a doctor, I expected to be told how much to use. If you are using OTC minoxidil, there will be instructions, my OTC minoxidil says not to exceed 1mL. My concern is that I am on blood pressure meds and have other history and the prescribed liquid is absorbed into the scalp a little and the ingredients have an effect on blood pressure when taken orally. Therefore, it would be nice if someone told me the dosage limit in case using too much can effect anything. Or if not using enough is not going to do anything. How much to use: seems a clear cut question, right? I called the office, and received this advice: "put it on your head". "how much?" We went back and forth with vague answers until I asked "what's the amount I shoud use, .5mL, 1 mL, 2mL?" "one drop and put it on, maybe 2-3 drops"... There's a huge difference between a drop and a mL if I am not mistaken, and it's not say, a skin creme. So, you know, I am not a doctor obviously, and maybe it makes no difference if you use 1 drop or 20, or if there are any side effects I should look out for when using it, but it would be nice if someone actually told me that. It's why you go to a doctor, right, so you don't have to google? The impression I was left with was that I, the patient, should guess the dosage, look it up myself, or somehow experiment with it. I emailed the office, and there still is no response. My concerns are being 100% ignored. Not an office that iss well run, imho. I also am in collection for a visit at another site I never had, and I cannot get through to anyone to fix the error. There is a whole convoluted process to ask for records to prove I did not have a visit (there are no SOAP notes for the imaginary visit) and an even more convoluted process to try to get to billing. The front desk staff were very nice, and the one time I actually saw a nurse or MA there, they were nice. The office is clean. That's all I can muster for positives.
