My dad was at Kessler in/patient rehab and he had an amazing experience. He had major back/ spine surgery. Within a week, he was already released after their intensive PT and OT. My dad said the therapist were incredible and all the nurses were sweet and very patient. Thank you for taking care of him.
Recovering from a major orthopedic spinal surgery my experience with Kessler in Saddle Brook was a very positive one. The staff was very kind, compassionate and caring. I was NEVER made to feel as if I was a bother. My wants and needs were ALWAYS taken care of quickly and efficiently no matter how big or small the requests were. If I was feeling down the nursing staff took the time out to cheer me up. I highly recommend Kessler in Saddle Brook. I personally didn’t have a long stay but I left for home with the skills and confidence I needed to take care of myself at home.
I’ve been a patient at Kessler in Saddle Brook for a full day. This is an email I had to send the chief compliance officer. The therapy team has been great so far. However, I have an issue with your inpatient side of your facility. After after walking over 1000 feet unassisted in physical therapy today, I am still forced to have one of your team monitor me as I walk to the bathroom. I have followed your rules. I went to the bathroom with somebody monitoring me and was instructed to pull the string in the bathroom that says pull for help when I was done and then had to wait 11 minutes until someone came in to my room. This amount of response time is unacceptable! What if I fell? What if I fell and started bleeding and needed help, I’m on blood thinners! You’re telling me I would bleed for 11 minutes! Would you want your loved ones lying on the floor bleeding? What are we spending thousands of dollars a day paying for? Is this type of neglect you give to all your patients? I’m fighting for the health and safety of everybody here in this facility. God help anybody who needs help fast in your one of your facilities. If you can’t provide the care for me within a reasonable response time, I will do my rehab at another facility.Kessler wants to put profits over people.
Excellent rehab program and attentive staff. Highly recommend. Used PT and Ot for knee rehab and MS leg issues that coincided with this problem.
My dad fell from his bed and they left him on the floor the whole night. Nobody came to check on him.
My friends husband has been there for almost 2 weeks and it has been the most frustrating and discouraging experience ever. My dad is a OBGYN in Bergen county and I have NEVER seen such awful service and treatment not only with the family but with the patient. Both of my parents were at this facility after surgery and I never saw this treatment. No one has answers and no one can help with anything. Honestly this man is in a very delicate situation and no one seems to help or care. We even have pictures of how we have found him which is extremely unacceptable. All patients especially those In a delicate situation should be treated better! You need to do better! Unfortunately if this continues I will contact all news outlets because this has gotten out of control and the family is suffering.
Very Very bad experience the last 2 weeks. I will never recommend this facility again.
My husband has just 2 days in this place and I’m frustrated already. He has a brain surgery, he can’t move or speak and wait for the nurses to come and change his diapers is like an eternity, I chose this place for his rehabilitation because it was recommended for his doctor but I hope🙏🏽 I haven’t made a mistake!!!!
I'm so disappointed and frustrated with the nurses. They don't have any compassion and empathy with the patient and family patient's. We were waiting for more than 30 minutes for a nurse to come to clean my family member who can not move at alland they did not know about his condition. How the employees have been trained and take care of the patients in this rehab place!!!! This is unacceptable. Nurses said they have 7 patients to assist. This is not a excuse. Poor service and experience.
This place is a hot mess. I am not talking about the therapists, etc. I am talking about the back of the house staff....and this applies to the therapy and medical sides. Phone calls are not returned. You schedule appointments and when you show up, they have nothing scheduled. I am pretty meticulous with appointments, but they are not. A lot of this could be avoided if they implement a reminder system like every other doctor in the country.
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! Absolutely terrible service. My grandma was sent her for what they first thought was a STROKE and they don’t even have a Neurologist on staff. Everyday we noticed her getting worse but the staff swore she was improving. The staff is incredibly rude and close minded. They don’t listen or care. They were wrong about my grandma’s diagnosis and in denial about her progress. DO NOT GO HERE!
I found most therapist were professional and polite. Clerical staff are very helpful, polite and courteous.
Very clean, the staff is very professional caring and go out of their way to help
Very caring and professional staff.
nice place if you have to recover
Great friendly staff made me feel at home
Excellent staff
They dont listen when tokd the patient cannot have salt from high blood pressure and caused them to swell up., bad for the heart. Not enough food
My overall experience at Kessler was one that I was very grateful for to get the help that I needed. If you need to get back on the road to recovery, Kessler is your place!
After having a hemorrhagic stroke which left me paralyzed on my left side, I was completely out of it for a month. If you are not in control of yourself and need help, there is NO understanding ,empathy or compassion from the aides. They were NASTY and lazy, They would be inEek! Methinks not.the room next door gossiping while I would have to wait for hours to get my diaper changed, It was bad enough having to wear one in the first place.
