Dr. Smith did an emergency 6 hour neck & spinal surgery on me, after an accident and being temporarily paralyzed. 6 days later, i was able to walk out of the hospital. Today, after 10 years, I am retired, ride roller coasters etc. I am even actively playing in a senior softball league. Thank you Dr. Smith for saving my life. Forever Blessed! 🙏

Beware of reviews from "Brain and Spine Institutes" where almost everyone is a 5 star rating. These "Institutes" are in the business of taking your money so do your due diligence and homework and don't fall for phony and fake Google Reviews.

My experience with the Brain and Spine Institute has been very positive. The level of professional care I'm relieving is always there. From office visits to surgery. I always felt I was in great care.

Dr. Smith is a very compassionate and skilled surgeon. He takes his time, listens to all complaints and does not want to see patients in pain. He will also graciously listen to and offer good advice on other medical problems not related to your surgery and not rush the appointment. His office staff is on point with all paperwork issues. I highly recommend Dr. Smith; you’re in good hands with him!

After dealing with back pain that grew increasingly worse over time and after visiting two orthopedists, pain management specialist, several rounds of spinal injections, and another neurosurgeon, I was referred to Dr. Smith by a friend. I was so happy to meet his acquaintance! With one look at my MRI, he immediately pinpointed the root of my chronic pain. Not sure why the others did not see what he saw. Dr. Smith scheduled me for surgery this past May and I already feel like a totally new person! With the relief I am feeling only a month post-op, I can only imagine how I will feel after a full recovery! I would totally recommend Dr. Smith as your neurosurgeon.
