Patients are treated abusively by a miserable office staff. Two round-trips for a surgical "pre-op" wasted hours of time and two days, and I still couldn't get the pre-op! In one case, the unprofessional attendant in the lab area wouldn't even accept the blood test orders from the doctor himself. Dr. Koniges and the Cooper University medical system operate like a Medicaid mill. Get as many patients in as possible for the minimal money given by the insurance company, without any dignity or caring, human treatment given. My medical problem has worsened as a result.

Dr. Koniges is an angel here on earth. I trust no other to take care of my breast issues. he has been my doctor and surgeon for over 20 years.

Although I believe he is a competent surgeon, my overall experience was unfavorable. The office hours are not flexible and I waited 30-45 minutes before seeing the doctor to then have him spend less than 5 minutes examining me post gall bladder removal. The exam consisted of him removing the surgical tape and saying looks good. When I asked if there were any warning signs of complications I should look out for, he said no if I were going to have problems I would have had them already. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Koniges is a highly competent, very talented surgeon. He cares about his patients, and is a direct and honest guy. I would highly recommend Dr. Koniges to family members and friends. A true class act.
